Gladly! I'd be surprised if you haven't read a few of these already, but these are all some of my favorites (in no particular order): 1) The previously mentioned I/O revision II, which is basically my favorite VN of all time 2) Steins;Gate 3) Chaos;Head (it loses its way a bit at the end, so I can't give it a glowing review like I can its successor, but the first two-thirds or so are great) 4) Rewrite 5) Little Busters 6) Remember11 (this is one hell of a ride, and still remains one of the most engaging VNs I've ever read; even if it does leave things unanswered, I liked it better than Ever17, which felt repetitive to me) 7) The Devil on G String 8) World End Economica 999) 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors (and the rest of the Zero Escape series, for that matter) Assuming you've read Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night, the lesser-known Kagetsu Tohya and Fate/Hollow Ataraxia are pretty good (albeit short). Cross Channel was good if you can stand the perverted protagonist. Umineko no Naku Koro ni is good, but I'm only partway through it myself. At least a few people here will recommend titles such as Utawarerumono, Danganronpa, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Ayakashibito, and Fruit of Grisaia, but I haven't read any of them personally (it seems my backlog only ever grows larger). Analogue: A Hate Story is another one I've heard good things about but have yet to read. edit: Adding to the list of "VNs I have yet to read but have heard great things about," Root Double was recently released on Steam this year. |

Well... I enjoy most of those things (besides crippling depression, but mainly because it's not very enjoyable to begin with), so I guess we will! o:
Ooh, yes, the faces are especially difficult to draw. I kinda do the same thing, so I can relate a little bit! o:> Oooh, I've heard of Steins;Gate but never really gave it a chance. I guess I should now, huh? ![]() Oh, and I've played 999, but never really got around to finishing it! It's good from what I played, but I think I got stuck and decided, "Welp, time to play something else," and never got back to it. I'll give it another go sooner or later! ![]() Thank you for the good stuff, leaf! |

The only acceptable rap is the DK Rap. I didn't know he was into drawing the various skulls of human ancestors. |

NP. And yes, you definitely should read Steins;Gate. I consider it required reading for any VN fan. Prior to reading I/O, it topped my list for best VN I've ever read. Nice thing about the way it does its routes, is you can get 4 endings in one playthrough, then get the true end on the next. While we're on the subject, have you got any that you would particularly recommend? What was your favorite VN you've ever read? |

Well, I actually haven't read that many visual novels (to the point of maybe being a fake fan?) but I do recommend Katawa Shoujo. It's got some wonderful characters and routes, and there's always either a reason to laugh or a reason to cry while playing it. For good reason, obviously! ^.^; |

Hm, sounds like you would be a fan of KEY's visual novels, then. Clannad is a classic, but you may want to start with their more modern ones. You really can't go wrong with Little Busters. |
