Nah, that's just England's football team being shit as usual. I find it funny that some elements of the media keep going on about a general election...When it's not going to happen. As part of the coalition agreement with the Lib Dems, the next General Election is in May 2020. The end. The only way a new one can be done is if there's something like a 90% vote in the house of commons...And |

So, uh... who exactly is going to push through the Brexit? Farage just resigned as well, and he was one of the big pro-leavers as leader of UKIP. I'm beginning to think that the leave camp didn't actually expect to win, and are now scared to flip the switch and be blamed when everything blows up. |

It was always going to be the Prime Minister - looking like it will be May. Farage was never going to have anything to do with it. As for Scotland...It's not going to happen. For one, they're unlikely to get a 2nd referendum, and for two, polls indicate that Scottish support for Scotland leaving the UK is at an all-time low (especially as they've been flat-out told Scotland won't be in the EU - independent or otherwise). The SNP are just a single issue party, so they literally have no other purpose other than bleating on about leaving. |

I saw an article saying Germany and Italy were thinking of offering citizenship to all the young UK people either currently studying there or living there, so that'd be a good way for the young to maintain freedom of movement in the EU and all those benefits, even despite Brexit |

I think that's more because there's talk about not granting EU citizens (already in he UK) UK citizenship unless their home country does the same. Which will probably happen across the EU, as nobody wants to be seen as the 'bad guy'. |

I wouldn't be so sure, as that's a flimsy argument at best for granting UK citizens EU citizenship. I'd be more concerned if countries are willing to trade and deal with the UK in the first place. |

My brother lives in Spain, is married to a Spanish woman and has kids. My parents haven't said anything to suggest he might be in trouble though. |

Trade and relations will be more strained but it's not like they'll totally embargo the UK. |

Free trade with Japan would make my inner otaku a bit happier... My inner otaku is pretty salty about £15 going down from 2800 yen to 2000 yen though, which really sucks. (£15 is the lowest point at which we get charged customs) ... it would be nice if the customs limit could be raised, because £15 is basically peanuts. >/ |

Yeah I definitely don't think Britain will be trade-embargoed or anything. If he's married to a Spanish woman he's probably fine anyway, spousal visas are pretty easy to get |

KITN-why are you still shitposting in the thread? And why are people surprised? It was common knowledge that the pound would fall post-brexit. |

Because it's just so easy. I can't help it. Are you really surprised both you and brexit is being made fun of? Hm. I thought you said it was common knowledge that the pound wouldn't fall and that everything would be fine and go smooth. |
