I like the original Game Boy version, don't like Sword of Mana. I am somewhat interested in the new mobile remake (Adventures of Mana) as it looks like it leans closer to the original game than the GBA version. It also has a really nice, clean graphical style, which is somewhat uncommon with 3D graphics in mobile games. Price is a bit more than I'm willing to pay for mobile games though, so it'll have to wait for a sale (and also wait in line behind the Dragon Quest mobile ports) |

I much prefer the original Final Fantasy Adventure to Sword of Mana. I don't really like SoM's gameplay, and it changes so much from the original FFA that it feels more like it's tangentially related to the original rather than being a remake of it. I agree that Endless Battlefield is awesome, though. Easily one of the catchiest tracks in the Gameboy library. |

So Square Enix "stealth" released Adventures of Mana on Vita in Europe yesterday and have announced it's North American release today. I might pick it up and try it again (played some of the original on Gameboy, but didn't care for it) now that it's on the Vita. |
