I've heard of those but I still have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Especially since those issues are, like, a year old?

I did a few quick Googles on this subject and just came up with a bunch of disreputable websites saying that Twitter was now beholden to feminists and radical Islamists, thanks to the left. They claimed that Twitter now allowed you to report accounts for "disagreeing with my opinion." As far as I can tell from actually looking at Twitter, this looks like a straight-up photostop, as there was nothing like that when I checked. https://support.twitter.com/articles/20169997 If you want to look over Twitter's policies yourself and explain exactly what you object to, feel free. Also, this isn't a matter of freedom of speech. That only applies to the right to not be censored by the government. Twitter is a corporation, and basically owns (what I imagine is a non-exclusive) license to whatever you tweet (otherwise they couldn't host it). They're absolutely within their rights to enforce whatever rules they want on their own website. But in this case, I see nothing objectionable about what they want to enforce. |

This was actually a thing at least at one point. But I'm pretty sure ultimately instead of letting people legitimately report others using it, it instantly trashed any reports with that option marked. |

I thought this was about the anime screencaps debacle at first. That seems to be a thing that was just blown out of proportion. I dunno. Anyway, I don't know what this is about, but it's probably not relevant to me because I only tweet about animu and shit like that. ... Twitter going after people who post anime screencaps is just absurd. |

He used the definitive racial slur for black people and replaced the 'i' with an asterisk. Do we not have that censored, Saturos?

That was about some fansubbers making someone mad and they got DMCAs sent to Twitter about said fansubbers and got them banned (Herkz and Skiddiks are the first ones that come to mind. There were probably more?). I doubt anybody will actually get banned for posting anime unless they're well-known and make whoever it is mad. |
