I saw this in Walmart yesterday beside all of the other games on the 3DS. I know that it is supposed to be the biggest Mario and Luigi game ever. Please post your thoughts/opinions/facts on this huge game that is surely not going to be disappointing. I would take a huge shot in the dark to say that I would be not addicted to this game, and no one else would be, but that would be untrue. It has, after all, been released for not even a week, and already people are loving every second of gameplay. |

Far more excited about this, personally! I'm planning on getting it, being a big Mario RPG fan, but I don't have a lot of enthusiasm for it. I like the M&L and Paper Mario series most when they really go all out with original concepts, like Super Paper Mario and Dream Team. From what I've seen, this appears to be Sticker Star: Mario & Luigi Edition. Granted, I actually liked Sticker Star more than I should have, so who knows? I'll probably change my mind once I get the game. |

Would you say that this game is going to be living up to fans expectations, as in being a proper Mario and Luigi/Paper Mario game? A lot of people were not liking Sticker Star on GameFAQs due to that reason alone. They said that Nintendo should make a proper M&L/PM game, so this could very well be it. I will hold off on posting my thoughts until I actually purchase and complete it. =P A Paper Mario Wii U game sounds brilliant, and they need another one to compliment the last Paper Mario game on the Wii. That game would be awesome in true HD! |

From what I've heard the game is a letdown, which is no surprise given the direction Paper Mario has gone in lately. Still no original characters, either. I do want it though. |

Super Slash, which parts of the game are a let down to you? I was watching a review of it on IGN, and I just read the GameInformer review of it, and the GI review of it said that there was nothing wrong with the game itself, just that it didn't have a high replay value. IGN gave it a low score because of various reasons, such as the story never unfolding? =(. What would you say to the way Paper Mario is now? How could it be improved? In what ways would you want Nintendo to improve their Mario RPG'S? |

I haven't played the game yet; in fact, it'll probably be awhile before I buy it. Paper Mario games need to bring back original characters, great music, and an at least decent story. Miyamoto is holding it back. |

Thank you for the quick response, Super Slash. I have also not played the game yet. I'll be getting it next month. Besides, Miyamoto is holding it back. That's why he makes the greatest games even greater than they originally are. The NX could very well be the generation in which Paper Mario games are given their place among AAA titles, forever. |

A combination of every Paper Mario game up until now into one giant game could do well on the current market of Paper Mario games that are out now! That would sell massively if it were given online features and original characters! |

I think the biggest problem I'm seeing so far in this topic is everyone is calling this a paper mario game. It is not. It's a Mario & Luigi game with Paper Mario characters. I watched a stream of one of the more prominent Paper Mario speedrunners, and the game looks pretty fun. It has some quirky mechanics when it comes to how it handles Paper Mario, but I'm liking what I saw, and picked it up last night. I will report on my thoughts once I start playing it. |

I'm planning on getting it sometime. I like paper mario, I like Mario & Luigi, if it's half as good as either of them, I'll be content. |

I stand corrected! I love the elements that are present in this game, even though the review on IGN did not give this game a favorable score! SchmittlesThePoe, get it asap! You'll enjoy it immensely if you are into Mario and luigi and paper Mario series of RPG's! The game will likely cover most of the ground from previous entries in both games!

http://www.metacritic.com/game/3ds/mario-luigi-paper-jam The reviewer for IGN did not like it, but other reviews favored it, balancing out to a 77. Additionally, IGN Spain rated it an 8.0/10. |

The reviewer on IGN Spain I liked more than the one I actually saw! 77 is quite a fair score and, given the nature of Metacritic, it is far more reliable of an indicator that people should follow that site than any single reviewer who misleads people because he is paid to do so and can potentially discourage Nintendo's stellar series! The game has no serious problems from what I can tell from the players or from Nintendo! DJ Octavio is right, and I am mistaken for calling this solely a Paper Mario game. Sorry! I cannot wait to play this game from watching its trailer alone! |

Dream team was OK The Wii U Paper Mario might just be the biggest PM game ever, even bigger than the current crossover I mentioned! |
