GAMEZ Sorry about being bad about keeping up with the polls, they are getting difficult to post as data timeouts or something? Either way it wipes information and I have copy/past, backout and do it all over again. ;>_> |

Console controllers. Depends on the game, though. |

Dance pads, with a guitar for alt input. Really though, it depends on the genre. Shooters, first-person games, tactical games, and any that rely heavily on menu usage, I prefer M+KB. For third-person action games and top-down (or diagonal-down) games, I prefer controller. Mertroid Prime is the only game where I think I've preferred motion controls. |

Really depends on the game. Usually I like mouse + keyboard, but with Dark Souls, for instance, controller works much better. |

Handheld interface. You can move the screen easily as you move, so it is easy to play in a curled up position under blankets. |

Handheld controls for a handheld game, console controls for a console game, and m/kb for PC game.

Console controllers outside of a few games that I prefer mouse and keys for. Motion controls is the dream but I haven't played anything that really impressed me with them yet. |

Handheld interface for aforementioned curling into a ball in blankets. Unless it's a platformer, then I demand an analog stick. |

As is being said repeatedly, depends on the game. Almost always either m&k or gamepad though, touchscreen technology is still shit, motion control is still shit, handhelds have awkward buttons and shapes, and I've never used a stick so I can't comment on that. |

But the best platformers ever made only required a D-pad! I grew up playing only consoles, so I thought that was the only way to go. Then my friends introduced me to Half-Life 2 and Call of Duty 2, so I grew accustomed to and even preferred the K+M. I guess it just depends on the game, really. I'll still plug a PS4 controller into my PC to play a platformer or some RPGs (TitS: FC, most recently). |

I play any consoles or handhelds I can because I tend to view them as necessary for exercise, no matter which games I am playing! I have owned many of them (a lot, like 15 or so) and they still give me plenty to do, regardless of which generation I am currently completing, and it doesn't matter which game I am going to complete! So, if I had to firmly choose something, I would choose handhelds because they require many dedicated hours to complete, as the genres are getting better than they ever have been! Console Controllers. I play plenty of PC games, but I plug in and use an XBone controller for the vast majority of them and it works perfectly fine, even for multiplayer/competitive games. |
