Okay, so at a party last night I found there was a LOT of discrepancy on how this card game is played. Let me list how WE did it and any bent rules. Ace is Waterfall. Start drinking and the next person follows suit etc. Each person cannot stop drinking until the person adjacent to them stops. The card puller sets the pace but there is a lot of room for heavy drinkers to torment the rest of the table. Two is You. Point at someone and command them to drink. Three is Me. Drink. Four is Floor. Last person to place their hand on the floor has to drink. Five is Guys. Men drink. Six is Chicks. Ladies drink. Seven is Heaven. Like Floor, last person pointing toward the sky has to drink. Absolutely quote Gurann Lagann. Eight is Date. Pick a person to be your date. Whenever one drinks, the date must also drink. There is also a common rule about having to make out if one runs out of alcohol, but too many people in this party group were related so that was a big no. Nine is Rhyme. Card holder picks a word and everyone goes around the table coming up with a rhyme. First person to fail to come up with a rhyme that hasn't already been used has to drink. Don't be a douche and say "orange" Ten is Categories. Card holder comes up with a category and players must name a thing in that category around the table. First to fail or repeat must drink. Jack is Never Have I Ever. We usually play three fingers but when it's the Jack of Spades, we play five fingers. Queen is Questions. The card holder is the question master and at any point can ask any player a question in which they must either answer truthfully or drink. The person remains the question master until someone else pulls a queen. King is Cup. Everyone puts a little of their drink in the center cup for the first three (or more) kings. Whoever pulls the last king must drink the whole cup. Joker is Rule. Card holder makes a new rule (ex. "Whenever Mike is a bitch, millenials drink") We also had some tarot cards like Death and The Tower mixed into our deck and one called "proxy card" which was a basic land Magic card with "Black Lotus" written over it, allowing the holder to make it into whatever other card they wanted it to be, etc. So, do any of you guys play Kings Cup differently? I'm open to suggestions! |

i've always played eight as "mate" and there is no making out. Never played with Never have I ever, which is good cause I hate that game. For "questions," for me it's always meant that if someone asks a question, anybody who answers their question has to drink. I've played where one of the cards makes it so you can't say anybody's name, and if you do, you have to drink. |

Never played a drinking game. But pouring alcohol from cups others drink from into one cup is pretty gross. :v |

Sound the horn and call the cry: "How many of them can we make die?"

It's been a while, so I can't remember a lot of our rules. I think Four was Beatles--you have to name a member of the Beatles, and if you can't, you drink. Each time the card is drawn, you have to name one who hasn't been named yet. |

rofl, rip Jackal's shattered innocence King's Cup is fantastic, and I'm glad you play with the "pour a bit of your drink in the King's cup." I played Kiki's version of Queen/question, and I thiiink the Jack I played was the "make a rule" card. Also had mate instead of "date" Come to think of it, since I learned in Windsor, that's pretty geographically close to Kiki anyway. Maybe that's why we have similar games? |

Yeah this is definitely a game that runs heavily on house rules. I've seen slight variations in every group of people I've played with. For instance, we generally don't use the Joker. I've also never seen the actual "King's Cup" in use - we usually have a can of beer in the center, and deposit cards under the tab. Whoever pops the tab takes the beer and chugs it. I'd probably refuse to play if we did the King's Cup version, because I like not throwing up when I drink. |

What I want to know is why people aged under 21 aren't allowed to read this topic. They all surely know drinking games anyway. |
