Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

Thanks for making this topic, drunk!Kiki! 8D

- Exercise more. Possibly through the waifu/hasubando topic.
- Finish my novel.
- Get my poetry book published.
- Learn new recipes so that if I live with someone, I don't only cook my favourite foods all the time. <_< >_>
- Move back to Canada and get an apartment and new job within a month.
- Meet a special someone.

To everyone who's saying exercise more/get in shape, don't be arbitrary, which is exactly what saying "exercise more" is. Be specific, and try not to over or underestimate what you can do. I started with "let's just do a set of push-ups, leg lunges, and sit-ups, and then eventually add pull-ups and weight squats. Once a day, it'll take like 15 minutes." So far, so good. Be willing to adjust. Everybody's different, but as long as you have discipline you'll be fine.

Oh yeah, I do have a specific routine in mind. 30/45 pushups, increasing if need be, two minutes of planking, maybe wall-sits? I would like to add squats, but my knees aren't the best so that really kills me.
I don't think I need cardio, but I might add it anyway.

I had planned walking for my exercise. I live near a park so I plan on going there at least twice a week (have not started yet though ^.^; ). Should also probably figure out something to do inside (rather try something other than pushups or situps)

I already know what I'm going to do though, Shads!

Get back up to my normal weights quickly following Stronglifts 5x5, and then switch to a 4 day upper/lower split once I feel good about those numbers (so body weight in bench/row, ~205 Squat, ~225 DL, ~105 OHP). Cardio optional/for fun, usually biking.

That's [radio edit]in a man, keep at it. Sadly I only seriously lifted for like 3 weeks, maybe a month. Couldn't even dent 200 on squats. It's pretty sad. I bike too, but my bike is pretty old and not really suited for serious biking. A lot more fun than running though, plus you get farther.

Hmmm...It is easy to type what I want to accomplish this year..but I already doubt I will achieve even 40% of it...anyway here it goes (pessimism off for a bit XD)

1. Eat healthier, and take gym seriously this time around! I am not obese, but I never was in good shape either...this has to change!

2. Finish all my studies, so I can get my degree this year! Actually this has to be priority number 1, but anyway...this leads to 3-->

3. After graduation, try to leave the country, and get independence off my mother (I am not a mama's child, thank god, I say mother cause I don't have a father) financially..Now that I think about it...this is going to be a next years resolution XD

4. Drop my religion..you might think why is this even an issue? But I assure you, this is an important life goal of mine!!

I would say apply for a job as well, but this is something happening at a later part of my life...now it is focus in my studies!!

But, we are already 9 days in 2016 and I still haven't begun to study...sigh...exams are starting on January 27th ugh!! :ohnoes:

PS: Now that I read about it...I kinda feel misserable...please don't make too much fun of me :sweatdrop:

I found a yoga app for iOS that I've been using. Well, I fell off using it because of a certain trip, but I'm going back now. It's got some ridiculously simple routines I'm starting with just to cement the habit, then I can move onto ones that are a bit more challenging. It's called Yoga Studio and is three bucks, if anyone's interested.

Don't give up!!

Depending on your size and frame, 200 may be a seriously big deal, at least at beginner levels. For instance, I'm relatively small for a guy so I started rather low and it took some time to get to 200. It's not about where you start or hitting specific numbers, only about bettering yourself.
