As you can see in the spoiler. Peytral's sig appears to be the culprit (but I have noticed spoilers with huge images can also do it) Spoiler: click to toggle This second one is an issue on my blog that has been reported on the jupiter skin by Lach as well - headers break unexpectedly. Spoiler: click to toggle Fix it please. |

It's always been broken. 2016 - get your clan a new skin and this time don't store the images on Photobucket. |

Can you send me a link to a topic where the page is being stretched? Perhaps someone has fixed it already, because I don't see anything. |

Neither of these issues is specific to the Jupiter skin. The headers breaking issue applies to any of the skins that use Javascript to apply multiple images to the headers. Easiest to fix it by just updating those skins to use plain CSS - I doubt anyone here is using IE8 or older, which are what the Javascript was for - but it still takes a while. I've fixed Jupiter and the Kradenmas skin so far. The page stretching issue is tougher to solve. Actually, I'm confused, because I thought page-stretching images vs. non-page-stretching images was a browser thing - images auto-shrink on Chrome - yet those look like Chrome screenshots in Chrono's post. (also, none of the skin images are on Photobucket anymore. They're all uploaded to ZB now.) |

Having had to dev a (really really basic) CSS that was forced to include IE8 compatibility I feel your pain. Screw IE8. Also yes I'm using Chrome. It might have to do with spoiler tags messing up ordering. How are those implemented to hide things? Admittedly the spoiler thing is less egregarious than the heading thing, but it's still ugly so I brought both of them. |

So the trouble with fixing the bug you've found, Chrono, is that I don't know how to duplicate it. I can try to make it so that images don't stretch anymore on Firefox, but that might or might not do anything for the specific problem that you're having. (Which, if I understand it correctly, is that spoilers with huge images in them are causing page stretch whether or not they're open; am I right?) |
