There's definitely quite a few Blazblue fans here, so you don't have to worry in that regard! I like Kokonoe a lot too, her spunk and SCIENCE! attitude works really well within the context of the BB universe. I like to use Hakumen as well, even if he's just kind of gloriously over the top at times Chronophantasma plot Gilgamesh here is a big Chris fan, and she was definitely my favourite in S1. So that's certainly a good choice~! Ofc there are no bad choices, the whole cast is pretty cool I knoooow, Quelaan is just so precious. It really kills me that From recorded a line for her where she gets cured of her poison and becomes all better, but they cut it of course, because Dark Souls is Suffering Seath the Scaleless is one of my other favourite characters from that series, and I think he and Priscilla would have such a fascinating dynamic. I actually got to write Priscilla a bit in an RP, but I'm not sure if I hadn't that issue as well as I could have... I did get to write Priscilla bonding with and befriending Quelaag though, courtesy of Chrono Ivan's writing, so that was great. 8D |

Sounds like your taste in characters is very similar to mine. I haven't played in ages, but nu was my main, and tao was one of my secondaries. Kokonoe is totally a char I would play if I had a recent version of blazblue to play on, but alas, I do not. |

I love Makoto! She's cute and lively and can punch the moon apart, all A+ features. Tao was the first character I picked when I played CT and has been my most consistent main, as she's stayed roughly the same and I appreciate that. Nu/Lambda's been kinda on and off for bc they keep changing her every game and I can't keep up (not like I can play particularly seriously in the first place, but still, this kills the Micha) I liked Nu in CT bc she was broke as [radio edit], Lambda was fun in CS (not a fan of the pizza cutter, but the rest of the changes were alright), I totally fell off with Nu in CP bc I was totally lost with how to correctly do the mode switching thing, and I've picked both of them back up in CPEX now that they've done their Ryu/Ken thing and split into two characters |

Hakumen is a delight, my timing's shit so I can't use him or his counters effectively at all, but I like how hard he's trying to be serious So glad to see I wasn't the only one immediately drawn to the gay catgirl and the yandere sword dispenser. Playing Kokonoe is fun but she's also very... dense? She has a lot of moving parts and you gotta figure how they work together most effectively to use her (which is a thing I am not the best at doing) I hear she was super broke af on release (like, [radio edit]ign SSS tier or someshit) but she's been nerfed down to like... S? A? she's still hella strong tho. Edited by ThatOneOverThere, Dec 20 2015, 01:00 AM.

Yeah, sounds right. In most fighting games, I usually play characters that combine mobility with projectiles, hence why I love nu/lambda. Zoning, rushdown, oki, all really good things I look for. I'm bad at using DPs, so it doesn't really bother me not having a reversal; I'd rather just never get hit in the first place. Tao is just fun. |

Welcome, seems like you'll fit right in here!
Sounds good, especially Madoka, that's my religion. Blazblue is indeed a fun game and the story is interesting. My favourite characters are Jin, Noel, and Makoto. I also really like Rachel as a character, but when it comes to playing as her I'm not a fan personally. The game has a great ost as well, Daisuke has certainly improved as a composer over the years, which is really cool to hear. wait....
You're officially one of the elite few to bless the Temple with good taste, if only Draco could also see the light and realize that Love Live is life. |

I'm not especially good at the game in the first place, but Rachel holds a special place in way of characters I'm bad at, I can't deal well with playing her trappy style of zoning. She's very fun to see played well though. And it's nice to see more people that like Love Live, I think I'm slightly more used to people expressing distaste for it so it's a nice change of pace. Personally, I don't think I'd hold my breath for Draco to watch LL, it doesn't seem to be her sort of thing. I could see her watching Im@s maybe? if she hasn't already, I forget what all my friends have seen. |

Draco's watching Idolmaster, I'm pretty sure. It's my job to set her down the right and noble path of Aikatsu, as impossible as it may be. |
