Try the Snack Bar thread. It's basically the general discussion thread, so reading the backlog isn't required. Just say what's on your mind!

Ahh I always found tabasco to be the stronger one, but it might be how I use it, plus I'm Cajun so I'm used to putting a ton of it in food lol. Personally tabasco is for big pot things like soup, tapatio is individual stuff like tacos and potatoes, and sriracha is for Asian in general. Yeah a lot of Japanese food is about "letting the flavors speak for themselves" but it's like...like iirc the su ratios are different in Japanese and American sushi. American uses more sugar and vinegar to season the rice than in Japan, which ends up tasting more like bland white rice. But when Japan does fried stuff some of it is so damn good @Braco i dk what I'd say lol what's there to ta lk about
Ahhh that's so cute. I used to breed rabbits actually! Not on purpose, had to separate them and later neutered, but we gave them to a professional breeder when we moved into a smaller place |

N ice !! My dad's Lousiana Cajun, and it's hell out here in California. Nothing is properly spicy and it's so expensive to get crawfish and gator out here I die |

I'd kill for some takoyaki tbh, I've only had it a couple times but it's so good. Tempura I can do at home, but I've had trouble making the kind of dipping sauce I get in restaurants |

Hahaha, taiyaki is much different from those other two, Leaf. =P As I'm sure you know. I love taiyaki though, I'm stockholm'd by redbean paste omg send help it's so good Takoyaki is pretty good, but kind of a pain to eat. It's like eating jello with a toothpick. Well... not quite, but yeah. Yakitori is also absolutely amazing, it and okonomiyaki are my favourites There's also yakisoba, of course! Lynx you should come to Japan, Osaka is especially famous for takoyaki and okonomiyaki =DDD |

The only taiyaki I've found out here has red bean paste but also vanilla ice cream. Tasty, but not the most authentic. Yakisoba is a favorite, but mostly I make it myself because if I'm going out to eat Japanese I'm probably out for sushi lol, more expensive to make myself. Also soba >>> udon I question why takoyaki is eaten with toothpicks though. Like...what. Who decided this and why is it the norm. I'd totally be down to cook for people in exchange for some room space lmao. Flights cost so much though and I'm an unemployed freeloader |

More like a Chris or a Tsubasa, maybe. (I forget Maria's personality, so I can't comment there.)
