Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Because it's scientific fact that snow is awful, so you can't like it unless something fishy's going on
Actually, that's humidity you're referring to. Snow is a beautiful and wondrous thing... well, until all those [radio edit]ing cars start mucking it up with their exhaust.
Y'know, snow being awful and humidity being awful aren't mutually exclusive

I heard people living in the northern part of the US still has classes and work going on when it snow or even if it is really cold.
Because otherwise everything would completely shut down for like three months.

I've lived only in the southern U.S. so I rarely see any snow of much consequence, and I love it when we do get heavier snowfalls. Alabama is really bad about shuting down due to it in particular because it's so rural.

Snow is a pain in the ass, but it makes me feel like a Stark so that's cool.

I love snow. I can't get enough of it. I love seriously cold temperatures, and glory in bad weather. Some of the times I've felt the most alive were way [radio edit]ing up in the mountains at Glacier National Park, skiing on top of 20 feet (6 meters for you insufferable metric system people) of snow, surrounded by foul weather and rapidly changing winds.

Overall I think I'm more on the side of liking snow. I like watching it fall. It was flurrying very very briefly today, nothing that stuck.

...Ask me again over the winter when I'll probably have to wait 30-40 minutes (if I'm lucky) for my bus to come outside in it at like 10pm and you'll probably get a whole different answer.

I'M NOT INNOCENT!

Do you want to build a snowman?

I actually enjoy snow as long as it doesn't interfere with driving and as long as it isn't too much.

What's the average snowfall in your town, Adnarel, as well as the average temperature in winter?

You all don't understand.

Canadians aren't renowned for liking snow, we're renowned for bitching about it and comparing winter-peens

My average snowfall isn't enough. Let me check.

Okay, Wikipedia says it's about 2 feet total. That sounds accurate. Mean temperature hovers a few degrees below freezing for three months of the year. That doesn't cut it for me.

Much more to my liking was our unusually harsh and cold winter two years ago. That year, about 5 feet of snow fell, and the mean temperature was 10 full degrees (Fahrenheit) lower than it usually is. It snowed in May that year. We had a few consecutive days where the mercury never rose above 0° F (that's -17.8° C) and the low for that year was -14° F (-25° C).

No, it's not a Canadian winter. Yes, I liked it a whole hell of a lot more than our usual winter.

I'm okay with snow, provided I don't have to drive in it, and I pretty much never do these days. Not to mention we barely get it enough for it to be a significant nuisance.

Also, I loved spending time (one full month) at Glacier National Park in the dead of winter. Average yearly snowfall there? Ten feet in the valleys. Much more in the mountains.

We actually get snow at the very edges of the city every few years. This is the same part of the city that goes up in flames from bushfires every few years and hits 45 degrees every summer. If I ever mention I'm thinking of moving to Penrith, remind me not to.

I love the snow. It doesn't snow here that often, and when it does, I don't have to worry about shoveling it.

Shut down everything because of snow!
