Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

As for the poll, try to vote without bias of their current state/issues and as a place you'd want to visit someday.

Obviously your choice doesn't have to be directly from the poll - so what's yours?

How did you not put hawaii or any other tropical island on this poll?
[radio edit] them.

I've been to NYC, Paris, Rome, Tokyo, and Quebec already, so of the remaining locations on the list, I voted for Cancun. Not a beach person, and have no real desire to see Mexico.

Russia's also on my "meh" list, as are several countries in Europe that aren't the UK and Germany.

...I hate to be "that guy", but Amsterdam is in The Netherlands, which is not Germany.

Wow, HJ, what brought you to so many of those places? Family vacations?

I've already been to London. In fact, I already visited all of the British Isles. Scotland was beautiful, really miss it!

I want to see some wildlife, take me to the amazon

People voluntarily go to Quebec?

Sound the horn and call the cry: "How many of them can we make die?"

Out of the list, Cancun or Paris. I have no desire to go anywhere in Mexico, and I'd like to see most of France except Paris.

Also, Amsterdam is in the Netherlands, not Germany.

Of those on the list, Cancun (but I would love to go to Mexico, generally), and the Amazon (again, would love to see Brazil, generally).

Already been to NYC, Paris, Rome, London, Shanghai, Sydney, and Amsterdam, and in a week's time I'll have hit Tokyo, which doesn't leave a whole lot of others.

Been to NYC, Tokyo, and Quebec (well, Montreal, but it's the same province as Quebec City, so).

Of the remaining locations, meh to the Amazon and Shanghai. I'd like to eventually go to Rome (or Italy in general) and London, and Sydney, and... hell, most of the rest of the list, to be honest.

I've been to New York, London, The Amazon (but not via Brazil) and Quebec.

I would not be that interested in seeing Sydney. I'm sure it's beautiful and stunning. It's just so far.

I've been to NYC (many times) and Tokyo.

I don't have much interest in Sydney (friends have recommended that I probably shouldn't go to Australia), Cancun, and Egypt (too hot for me).

lolwhoops accidentally chose not to vote

anyway

I'm not really interested in most of these lmao

Sydney I'd go to for reasons, Tokyo for other reasons, Rome for on the level reasons, the rest are eh. I definitely wouldn't want to go to NYC or Shanghai though, [radio edit] heavily populated areas

also it'd be awkward going to Cancun and not being able to speak Spanish, I'll feel like I failed my people

Largely trips with friends, actually, some while living nearby.

LOL
^

Although 18-20 year olds where I come from do travel there at least twice a week just to get hammered.

Doesn't make it any less lol-worthy, ofc

Preeeetty much that entire list, for a variety of reasons, except Paris, which I've already been to and enjoyed.

If we had to boil it down to an absolute, either Cancun or the Amazon. I could theoretically gain the ability to interact with whatever the local culture is in any particular region, but those are especially farther from anything I have any interest in.

England, Italy, and Canada are all on my wishlist, though 2/3rds of those are because of specific people far moreso than the regions themselves.

If we're being honest, I only travel for other people anyway; the last time I went on a certifiable vacation was mostly for my sister's benefit rather than my own; I mostly existed in whatever convenient corners were available and took up as little space outside of my room as possible. Par for the course.
