Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

Hell, I posted a picture from an incest manga. No one had a problem with that? I honestly thought it would be gone with a warning by now but I gambled. :sweatdrop:
Not everyone is familiar with the hentai. Those who don't know obviously don't know, and those who do know are smart enough not to bring up the fact that it belongs to an incest manga.

So what I'm saying is that, for these kinds of images, it doesn't matter whether they belong to something that would be problematic and it doesn't matter how many people recognize where it's from. Just don't be the first one to admit it.

but you just had to, huh.

c'mon, bruh. think for a second.
Why does it matter what it's from if the image itself is innocent?

I mean, I'm using "innocent" loosely here but you get the idea.
There's nothing immoral about a woman politely asking her brother to squeeze her breasts.

I for one am perfectly fine if there's a new rule that stops people from talking about something if it's too popular.

jfc you're such a hipster, heaven forbid people talk about popular things.

Hey, I didn't report this thread.

I ain't even mad, I was just kind of stunned that making this thread seemed like a good idea.
This, really. I don't even usually mind but the ridiculous lack of tact is well, astounding. I get that it's just joking around, but c'mon, ya'll really gotta act like 16 y/o, like, shit.

He has a point, though, some people are up on a high horse, all smug, about people having a little fun. >.>

That's downplaying the actual consequences of this topic. Sure, there were a good number of people that were put off by the subject alone, but it was the ensuing discussion that really disturbed them. It was not about the fact that this whole incident is "a little fun", it was about how and where a group of adults were having "a little fun".

That may be but it also doesn't give people the right to be so incredibly snarky about it. Perhaps if peoples' issues weren't so incredibly vague it'd be more understandable rather than coming off as an overaction to a few somewhat immature jokes.

"at least a little better than GameFAQs"

We should put that on our advertising.

I wasn't one of the people who took serious issue with this topic, but I think I see where they are coming from. It can be pretty uncomfortable having such a visible part of the body/chest area (bewbs) be so sexualized and discussed a lot. It can make you feel kind of squicky sometimes. I'm sure plenty of guys get the same feeling when thrust into a crude-comments-penis size discussion with a group of women. I may not have personally had a strong reaction to this topic, because I read it all as very tongue-in-cheek, but I could see how some might have felt otherwise.

The point I was making with my poll was that we don't need to be surprised that this topic didn't go over well with some. When you're in a group of people you need to know who is in your group. It's why you don't make Holocaust jokes around Jews, why you don't joke about weight in front of those with eating disorders, why you stopped using "rеtardеd" as an insult

and why you stopped making crude titty remarks in front of grown women.

Well, I mean, you can also make that point without creating a passive aggressive parody as well.

I didn't foresee this as something people would take offense to, to be honest, it's why it was created. It was meant to be lighthearted, not insulting or even toward the women of the temple. But I will take it into consideration going forward and I just would like to not have to trip over my own feet worried I will offend someone. >.<

That's fine, and completely fair - I don't like to walk on eggshells either (and I make no effort to do so, lol).

Remember that it is always better to ask for permission than it is for forgiveness and you'll be fine. :>

Personally I didn't even have much of a problem with your original post, Aevis. Garnered a bit of an eyebrow raise, but I figured that, being you, you didn't mean harm. It was more the subsequent responses. But thanks for saying you'll be a bit more cautious in the future. Sometimes discussions take turns we wouldn't have expected or that we had hoped they'd avoid.
