[radio edit] no, my sense of direction is awful. I get lost going to major landmarks in the area, and I've lived here all my life. My GPS may be a piece of shit, but even that is better than normal for me. |

Once I get a feeling of my destination with Google Maps, I can get there fine. But a natural sense of direction? Noooope. |

If someone gives me directions to a place I will [radio edit] it up. If I have gone to the place a couple of times with a GPS, I will probably remember how to get there without it. Learn by doing. |

Yeah I get lost pretty easily on routes that I'm not familiar with but end up finding my way around with logic.... sometimes. My city is confusing as hell to drive in so I just try and stick to routes I'm familiar with. |

I have a pretty solid sense of direction. It's probably due to so many exploration-based video games, actually. I can look at a map of an area and have a pretty solid idea of how to get everywhere. I remember turns and orientations pretty instinctually (except when roads curve slightly - that's [radio edit]ed me up hard before). I also have a pretty decent intuition for navigating cities. The only time I can't navigate well is when drunk, or when driving. |

I feel like I can find my way no problem on foot, but as soon as I'm in a vehicle, I'm full panic/wtf mode. I'll anxiously map out routes to places I'm going to interview at or events I'm going to attend if I have to drive there. I have 10 tabs open of all Google maps with street views, nearby locations, map routes, none of which really helps since I'll just use my GPS anyway. I'm a mess SEND HELP |

If you give me a map and let me wonder around a bit, I pick up on direction pretty well. |

I'm pretty good at remembering routes/paths I've taken even just once, and I can figure out directions to a place fairly easily. I was also often the navigator for my dad's driving during trips to France/Spain. I think like HJ, it's because I've played so many exploration games. =P |

I'm a slave to Google Maps nowadays/GPS. I can navigate fairly well if I have cardinal directions or a rough sense of where various things are, though. I once recently drove like 45 minutes in the wrong direction because they changed the roads while I was in Japan, and the road that used to curve down south ended up just continuing north now. >_> |

Nope. Not at all. My dad still will ask me if I know where we are when I can see the street I lived on. I am very gps reliant especially since I moved to another state in August. I'm okay if I've been to the place multiple times but I can't be given an address of a new place and easily find it without gps. |

Oh God no.... If I have to go somewhere new, like for clinical when I have to go somewhere an hour away, me and boyfriend go a few days before and scope it out so I know where I'm going. If not, I get lost and end up late. And my GPS has gotten me lost and taken me to the wrong place soooo many times. I even got lost in the town I live in last week because I decided to take a shortcut to get to a road, and ended up not knowing where I was... And I've lived here going on 5 years now... It's an ongoing joke with my friends and anyone that knows me well, if I have to go somewhere new, I'm going to get lost, hands down. And I still may get lost, even if I've been there before. And don't get me started on hospitals... I've gotten lost so many times.. |

Some hospitals are a bit of a maze. They should have those 'You are here' maps, like malls. >.< I never did answer this: when I try driving I'm terrible, possibly because they go so fast that I lose my sense of direction - on foot I know my way around a bit better. |
