Jesus this was difficult to narrow down. I thought about this for a while, and in the end, I came up with this: 1: Final Fantasy IX 2: The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (3D) 3: Dragon Quest III 4: Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan 5: Xenoblade Chronicles 6: Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate 7: The Ace Attorney series as a whole. Well, except Apollo Justice and maybe Investigations 1. They're great, but not quite as good as the rest. 8: Super Mario Galaxy 9: Pokemon X/Y 10: Castlevania: Circle of the Moon And since I just love including a ton of superfluous bullcrap, have a stupidly long honourable mentions list too! In no particular order. I just love them all too much to not mention them.

This is a tough one...after number 3 XD Well: 1.Golden Sun 2.The Legend of Zelda 3.Fire Emblem 4.Shantae 5.Mario Kart 6.Super Smash Brothers 7.Donkey Kong Country 8.Touhou(this is arcade yes, but I count it) 9.Well, I watch a lets play of the Walking Dead, as if I am watching a movie, does this count? 10. just to fill this list, I will add Final Fantasy, even though I played only 1,2,4,5 and the beginning of 6. Also Tactics Advance!! If we do a favourite games list, things would be tougher to decide...!

XD I was interested in the series, since that video I saw iof Flandre Scarlet being hacked in Golden Sun. I fell in love with her theme!! I am new to Touhou though, I have only played Mountain of Faith and Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. I manage easy mode but keep on loosing in normal mode....

Yeah, practice makes perfect! Mountain of Faith is a bit tricky to start with, and unless you have the patch for it, Embodiment of Scarlet Devil doesn't display your hitbox (and you have to play on Normal to get to the last stage). Number 7, Perfect Cherry Blossom, and number 8, Imperishable Night, are both more beginner-friendly games, I think. =) But yeah, I focused on clearing them all on easy first, then I was good enough to beat them on easy without continuing, and then I worked on doing the same for Normal mode. It definitely took a little while to work up to that point! But so far I've Normal 1cc'd (beaten without continuing) 6-14, and I'm working on 15 now. The extra stages are also really fun, but super hard @_@ I've beaten the extra stages for 6-8, at least... |

Wait, there's a patch to make the last stage accessible on Easy? Why did nobody tell me about this? |

Sorry, my bad, I only thought to add the bit about the last stage after. ^_^;; The patch to show your hitbox really helps a lot, though. >_> The Prismrivers are totally beginner friendly. 8D Or more specifically, it's gameplay things. Collecting pieces of spring/cherry petals allows you to very easily get extra lives, and the border bonuses basically let you choose between point bonuses or another screen-clearing effect, which is extremely helpful. It's basically a free "temporary invincibility." With Touhou 8, in addition to it being fairly easy, the "border between life and death" is slightly longer than in other games (and really long with Reimu-Yukari), so you can deathbomb very easily (bombing after getting hit but before the death registers, thus spending a bomb to save a life). |

I noticed that I cant get the last stage in EoSD...I didnt try normal mode on EoSD yet... In MoF normal mode, I reach Kanako, but i cant beat her. Now I practice the 6th stage on normal mode with 9 lifes...and keep on loosing... But I really enjoy them nonetheless. Is there any way to play EoSD on fullscreen? I can't for some weird reason...and no, I don't see my hitbox there, but I manage (I think..) Also, I started with MoF first because I was told it was kinda easier than the others and beginner friendly!! |

... whoever told you MoF was beginner friendly and easier than the others was a bit sadistic, I think. If you can already reach Kanako on Normal, you're doing pretty good! And Kanako herself is pretty tricky! Personally, I'd rank the difficulty like this, from hardest to easiest: 15 > 11 > 12 > 10 > 6 > 7 > 13 > 14 > 8 Roughly, there's a bit of wiggle room at the end there, and a few are close (11 and 12, for example). And I maybe just haven't put as much hours into 15 as the others. 9 kind of doesn't really count, because the difficulty is relatively standard, and it's just a matter of if the AI derps out or not. |
