Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

It's true! It's rare that I'll ever call a game downright bad. Usually I can derive some enjoyment from it, and often that'll be enough to satisfy me.

Unity being considered shit kind of baffles me. I understand people complaining about NPCs glitching themselves through the floor and the scaled-back story, but other than that, it's like, what?
I never played the game but all I recall was disgusting articles about performance issues, the whole review embargo (hinting they knew it was a mess), and the ridiculous sized patches to fix everything. I dunno about it being bad now but its launch seemed horrid.
Yeah i'm sure it's fine by now after all the patching and fixing done to abomination that was released as a complete game. I would still consider it and it's devlopers shit after the [radio edit]ery they did to everyone who preordered the piece of crap that was released.
I guess that's where I disagree. The game may have been shit when it came out, but the developers fessed up to their mistakes and patched it into what has turned out to be a very fun experience for me. I can't be mad about that. Dragon Age 3 also had many issues when it first came out, in my experience, but most of those have been fixed, free of charge. Again, I can't be bothered to get worked into a rage about that.

I don't know. The whole "you released an unfinished game, burn in hellfire" mindset is not one I've ever agreed with. Unless the game flat-out doesn't work or is just plain silly (i.e. Alien: Colonial Marines, from what I've seen), that is. Then I just don't buy it!
Nah, the next Golden Sun is going to be the GS equivalent of ME3's Citadel DLC with the original cast. It will sell millions.
The hellfire sentiment is not because of just one game but a growing tend for big name games being able to rely on preorders and such to ensure a game's success even if it releases in a almost unplayable state. Releasing a game with a few bugs is perfectly fine since not everything can be tracked down with the strict shipping dates, but nigh unplayable games released with dozens of very obvious bugs and glitches are not something that should be condoned.I mean sure patching is great and does allow developers to fix the mistakes that pop up, but why rely on it so much to fix things like this? I would rather not let gaming get to point where you can never expect to be able to play a game day 1 without wading through a sea of bugs that make it impossible to play. I personally have not played unity or any of the other assassin's games after brotherhood, but I did enjoy the games I played,

I'm sure it's a decent game after all the bugs were patched out and I did not mean to sound completely derisive of it :3

I am glad Ubisoft did compensate people for the buggyness, I just would like a game to be so buggy next time =3

I really don't have any predictions for E3 this year. Most of the games I'm looking forward to wouldn't be shown at E3, so aside from Star Fox U and SMT x FE, I won't be keeping an eye on too much. Would like to be surprised by some unexpected announcements though.

Nintendos E3 Direct

Suddenly, distorted colors

They've been hacked! Live!

In the midst of all the broken screen effects a video starts playing

Then, this fades away on the screen...

Where were you when video games was saved?

Let's just wait and see what happens.

Uh, have you seen what they've been up to

If that counts as saved, then gaming truly is dead

I'm expecting Animal Crossing Wii U and a HD remaster of another GCN game by Nintendo ala Wind Waker.

Bayonetta 2 DLC would be nice...

Hush now sweet baby pie

This will obviously be the year Sega teases their comeback to the console war. Next year is the big reveal of Sega New Genesis. A huge, revolutionary project developed in complete secret in Yuji Nakas dark, damp basement.

It will have everything. A VR headset (Better than Virtual Boy, Oculus Rift and Project Morpheus!), a controller which you can rebuild in any way you want like a Transformer! It can be a classic controller, a PC mouse and much more!

Release games will be Sonic Adventure 3 (HD remakes of SA and SA2 included!), Ecco the Dolphin: Global Warming, Ristar Revolution, Streets of Rage 2099 (Developed by Platinum Games), Comix Zone: Marvel/DC Edition, Shenmue 3 (It will be better than GTA V!), Alex Kidd: Back in Action and Camelot will develop a new Shining Force game (Better than Fire Emblem Awakening!)

The big name is of course Phantasy Star Online VR. Inspired by Sword Art Online this will put the VR headset to use and you will literally live the game for real. People will die because they don't leave their rooms but nobody cares because it's such a good game.

It will introduce the Sega Store which will be a paradise of classic Sega games from arcades, to Master System up to Dreamcast.

The Internet will crash for days and Sega will be so successful that they will buy out the competition in the most humilating ways possible. They will trick Shigeru Miyamoto to work for them by promising a spot on a cool project but he's actually just going to clean the toilets. Kazuo Hirai will commit seppuku live on stage.

So yeah E3 2015 will be cool but 2016 is the year that goes into legend. No empty promises here.

Better than Fire Emblem Awakening!
it isn't hard to be better than that (i'm still mad i can't enjoy all the dlc because it makes me grind grind grind)

considering the genesis shining forces looked like suspiciously similar to oldschool fe i feel like i should try them while jokingly calling it a ripoff

edit: also i'm just expecting all three companies to release stuff i don't want like every year :(

It's been 6 years since Dark Dawn was announced.

It was 6 years between The Lost Age's English release and the announcement of Dark Dawn.

HMM... but Dark Dawn wasn't released until a year after it was announced, so it's still only been 5 years since Dark Dawn was released.

(but, yeah, I think Camelot's been too quiet lately... not sure if that's a good or bad sign)

I'm not even going to hope for a golden sun 4 this year, BUUUUUT that poll for a Smash DLC character did get Isaac in its shortlist, and did he get 5% of the votes? Sure he didn't win, but it might have just reminded Nintendo that Golden Sun is a thing, so there may be a little teaser next year.

In terms of anything else, I can't say I've really thought about anything. A new F-Zero would be nice, I enjoyed the one I had for GBA. It'd probably end up being for Wii U though and eh. Another 3DS Zelda would be good too. I've fallen out with Pokemon so they can do whatever the hell they want.

In fairness, I'm pretty sure that we barely got any sign of Dark Dawn's announcement before E3 2009. I remember being really blindsided since it came out of nowhere.

I still don't expect it; they'll probably shift Camelot to Wii U for the usual Mario sports titles.

I remember searching "Golden Sun E3" each year on Youtube. It became tradition but I didn't think much of it after some years. Almost had a heart attack during the annual search in 2009 when [radio edit]ing Golden Sun DS came up out of nowhere.

I will never experience that again. :nono:

Giraffes are adorable.

Golden Sun has joined the Nintendo afterlife. However still has not entered the lighest level where it can enjoy eternal bliss as Metroid and F-Zero has done to be able to live on as playable characters in SSB games. It is still in doubt if it will make it to eternal bliss along with Advance Wars if it will at least live again with playable characters. Only you can save them with the Smash Bros ballot.

Add the Dreamcast sound quality to the Gamecube version of the game along with HD and I'll buy it at a high price.
