Phantasia does have a sequel actually: http://aselia.wikia.com/wiki/Tales_of_Phantasia:_Narikiri_Dungeon Was remade for the PSP as Narakiri Dungeon X. |

Huh, I never got around to playing that one so I had no clue it was a direct sequel to Phantasia. I have played others in that Tales of the World spinoff/subseries though, and they were quite enjoyable. The translations were far from complete in most cases, unfortunately, but there was enough to play a little bit and make some headway. And it's for that reason that I would like other Tales games to receive localisations. Just because they're not mothership titles, again, doesn't mean they can't be fun and should be experienced by more people. |

y-ep. It's probably be a game that'll never be localized here. That doesn't mean I won't be looking forward to it tho. |

I don't think I've played that one. It really seems like something I would remember.Hell, I'd be happy if they decided to keep the series all on one damn platform. I'm sure both are great titles, but I'm not buying a 360/Vita for Vesperia/Hearts R. And those are somewhat recent localizations, too. |

No, you need to play it because Yuri. Seriously, Yuri is an amazing protagonist and I've still yet to play any RPG that has someone who's better. |

I'm pretty sure you've played Xenosaga and TotA, haven't you? So that would be a lie. Yuri is indeed pretty cool, even if he isn't the most interesting character, he's the most bro. It's all about playing as Judith anyways. |

Vesperia is indeed an excellent Tales game. It's a shame so many people haven't played it due to only localizing it on its original console. Rita was the best

ToV was really good. It's my personal favorite Tales game, though Tales of Hearts R became a very close second for me. I agree with Super Slash, I also find Yuri to be my favorite protagonist, at least in the Tales series. At the very least he'd be in my top 5 of all time. Rita was definitely the biggest reason why I loved ToV as much as I did though. By far my favorite mage of the Tales series. I've found myself disappointed in every mage character in a Tales game I've played after ToV (TotA, ToG, ToX/ToX2) because of her. Though Beryl in ToHR was the exception, I liked her quite a bit. It is a shame that the PS3 version of ToV never made its way to the west. I know Bandai Namco said they'll have some "surprises" in store for Tales fans the next couple of years or something like that, but with that fan translation for the game that was released recently, I worry that if Bandai Namco were considering bringing it over here, that now they won't since the work was done by others already. I know everyone always says, "But they said they would never bring the PS3 version of ToV to the west!", but they also said the same thing about Tales of Hearts. We weren't ever going to get the PS2 port of Tales of Symphonia either, but we eventually did in the form of the PS3 remaster. I wouldn't be surprised if eventually we see them make a "remaster" of ToV for PS4 or something. |

We'll probably get a PS4 remaster for it's 10th anniversary ala Symphonia. I sincerely hope so, anyway. |

Yeah I've played both, but not sure who you have in mind for Xenosaga. Jade is cool but still not as cool as Yuri. Even if we do get Vesperia PS3 somehow, don't expect the original VAs to return to voice the new content (although the original VAs did surprisingly return for the PS3 version of Symphonia, so who knows?). |

This is what I'm hoping as well. With them saying they have some "massive surprises", and the fact that ToV's 10 year anniversary is only a couple of years away, I can't help but hope for it to actually happen.
If they ever did bring it over here, I would be happy as long as they got Michelle Ruff back to voice the new content for Rita. I'd definitely prefer the entire cast to return to do it, but I could live with a few different voices as long as they got her back. |

I wouldn't expect a ToV remaster until the next gen. But yeah, it'll probably happen eventually. That, or a steam port. |

Would be nice if they started embracing Steam ports like Squeenix has been doing, but again, not holding my breath for that or for the chance to finally play Vesperia on my PS3. |
