Some time before Chapter 1 became a thing? Anyway. This is one of the very few webcomics that has managed to consistently hold my attention. Even though it's on-going, I find myself glued to the updates and pages that Gigi keeps adding. The artstyle is gorgeous and captivating, and the writing hilarious, tongue-in-cheek and at times heartrending. You really have to pay massive props to her flawless ability to go from comedy to sadness at the flick of a page. I also love the inspirations it takes from games like Paper Mario. Oh, and Peridot and Almond are adorable together.

It thoroughly deserves a permanent tab on my tablet. My only problem is that I was introduced to it only a couple of months ago, so I had like 500 continual pages to go through and get used to building the story like that, and now that I'm up to speed, I keep finding it hard to remember exactly what's happened. I mean I should just wait a second to read the last page when it gets updated instead of just dashing to the forward arrow.

Really like the shift of the colours to represent how dire this fight feels.
