He sounds nothing like Mayumi Tanaka, but the voice is still fitting for Krillin. He's also really grown as an actor since he was first hired, so that helps, too.

Disagree, though I'm not caught all the way up, Crystal easily is better from a storytelling point of view because it cuts a lot of crap from the original (which I also haven't watched all of to be fair, I guess) and if Toei actually spent any money on Crystal it would be above average.

Though it was lame that the only attacks they could do were stock footage. They should have some smaller attacks, like seeing Mars casually shoot off some fireballs or something.

It's all in the execution and plenty of shows pull it off well.
