Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

There are so many threads you guys should already have but there is nothing.

This is not to be confused with good news bad news. Good news bad news is for personal shit in your shitty life. This is actual news. Like Putin wrestling Obama, Kate Middleton farting out babies and such.

In December, NASA is going to have their first test flight of their new Space Launch System and Orion, the spacecraft which will, if everything goes right, take humans to Mars in 2030. This is really cool stuff if you didn't know that.

In september of this year there was a general election here in the Greater Communist Empire of Sweden. Shit hit the fan when a racist party with roots in neo-nazism became the third biggest party and gained balance of power. There has been a lot of speculation and now that party used their power to bring more chaos. Thus we've been put into a governmental crisis and forced into a "snap election" or "extra election" next year. This means we're going to have to vote again. I voted Green this year but I doubt I'm going to vote the same again, only from september to now they've embarrassed themselves and dissapointed me greatly.

Anyway, this "extra election" thing is historical since the only times it has happened was in 1887, 1914 and 1958.

Indeed. 10 years travel in space, several gravity assists from two planets, all to land on a tiny little spot of dust. The flawless math. The flawless science. It's...beautiful.

I read that article and all it means is web porn made in the UK is now under the same restrictions as DVD porn made in the UK. For some reason stuff like spanking is banned because "it might cause phsyical harm". Anyone is still free to watch what they want because foreign stuff obviously doesn't fall under those rules.

Meanwhile in America... police officer uses a banned chokehold, keeps using it after the father of six says "I can't breathe" until he dies. Medical examiner rules it a homicide, meanwhile grand jury doesn't indict. >_> <_<

Some things they banned don't make much sense to me... like female ejaculation, what is somebody gonna drown?

The extra election is interesting. Shocking how a neo-nazi party could even get that far to require it! I hope the extra election goes well and does some good.

Nah it's just the usual fear of female sexuality. A female having an orgasm? Noooo way, they should carry babies and that's it. Thinking anything else is, as they say, "tried and tested as harmful to children". For [radio edit]s sake. Erika Lust puts things in perspective http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/comment/the-new-uk-porn-legislation-will-turn-erotic-film-into-boring-unrealistic-male-fantasy-9898052.html

Well since the 90s they've worked hard to clean up the dirty public image and appear to be "just" nationalistic and conservative. Wolf in sheep's clothing. They have one focus, and that's immigration. And islam is the greatest evil there ever was. They've also had success thanks to people being fed up on the other parties and the medias childish behavior around them. Instead of taking the debate to them they don't even want to stand next to them on live television debates. Only giving the racists more time to spread their ideology and makes them seem like the mature ones. And some vote on them just give show the finger to the establishment. They're also a part of a rising anti-EU movement that, sadly, grows throughout Europe.

I'm not in the country, Hell's not in the city, and I just checked in with Insul, and he's not there either, but he says his dad is in one of the buildings that have been locked down for the moment.

Thoughts go out to those Aussies who are here or have been here in the past. May you and your families and friends be well through this crisis.

I'm sure they're all ok. It's thought to be around 15 people inside the caf out of around 23.696.900 australian citizens who might've been members here. And it seems to be a lone amateur behind it. Some managed to escape and he doesn't seem willing to kill anyone so whatever the reason he doesn't seem to have much faith in it himself.

And apparently police are in discussion with him. So far it all seems to be under control, as much as something like this can be under control. As long as he doesn't do something desperate.

The guy asked the police for an ISIS flag because he didn't bring one himself.

Don't you hate it when you're not associated with ISIS and you forget to bring your own ISIS flag to a hold up

I recognised the guy's name from a High Court case from last year - he has a trail of criminal and extremist behaviour, including a conviction for being an accessory to his wife's murder, and sending hostile (to put it blandly) letters to the families of Australian soldiers who had died fighting in Iraq (and then trying to argue that the implied Constitutional right freedom of political communication preserved his ability to do so - hence the HCA case). That people seem to be focusing on the fact that he was a former refugee from Iran isn't helping the racial tension around the country. I've already heard reports of random people of ambiguous (let alone Middle Eastern) ethnicity being assaulted on public transport because shithead bogans consider them to be responsible.

The picture of the terrified hostages holding up a flag in the window makes me so angry. What kind of person forces people to do that?
