Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

Hello future comrades! :vermin:

So who am I? Well, I'm a studying 21 year old middle class man from the Greater Communist Empire of Sweden. I've finally decided to become part of this place but it wasn't easy. I was part of Golden Sun Realm, where I was known as Faceless, and there I heard, from not so reliable sources, that this place was evil. So when GSR died and spread its members across the web I instead followed one member who created Golden Sun Land in its place. There I became known as King in the North which I've taken with me on my great perilous journey here. King or Kitten is fine with me.

I know some GSR/GSL members have accounts here as well so at least I'm not alone in this.

I have to say I'm a little disappointed. This place doesn't look evil at all. This golden theme is kinda pleasant.

What else what else...

When it comes to to the subject of electronic virtual entertainment I'm in love with rpgs. Be it a silly animu JRPG or an in depth WRPG I'll swallow it whole. Also Metal Gear is my favorite series of games. I also love retro. Not enough to actually be a collector and buy myself a NES and old TV but thank god for emulation. To be even more specific I love retro shmups. Sega Genesis and Snes are close to my heart at the moment.

I have a thing for the superhero genre of comics and movies and I follow both DC and Marvel with passion. As you can see I dig Superman.

My username on PSN is Schabolo. It doesn't have any meaning. Add me if you want. It's on PS3 but I plan on getting a PS4 once my economy is a bit better.

I have a, probably unhealthy, obsession with energy drinks and it's going to be the death of me.

I watch the WWE and I don't care what you say. It's the closest we're going to get to live action comics and it's great.

My family has had a dog for the past six years and she's an idiot and I love her.

I plan on studying biology in the near future. It's something I'd like to work with.

Since I live in Atheist HQ I am an atheist. But I respect freedom more than I care about god existing or not so we should all get along fine no matter what.

I like Boards of Canada and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

I can't dance unless I'm drunk. Once I'm drunk I still can't actually dance but at least I don't care what other people think of me when I'm on the dance floor acting like a fish on land.

That's all I can get out of me right now. Any questions asked and I'll try to answer them. Anything and everything.

Be gentle with me.

Thanks for the warnings! Waffles are good so I can't make a promise there.

And hey Water! Really? Who are those other four then?

You. I like you. I think you may actually be our first Scandinavian, too.

Be prepared for people to complain about Superman being a boring Mary Sue. I mean, I don't think that, but it's a common opinion here.

Also, [obligatory Game of Thrones reference].

Who doesn't? Seriously though I don't actually know enough to discuss it, but what I do know is that I like happy k-pop songs (does sad k-pop even exist?) I mean you can't be sad when listening to Bubble Pop or something similar. Oh and female k-pop artists choreography and wild k-pop fashion is always nice.

Aww I already made a friend.

Yeaaah...I know exactly what you're talking about. But I can't blame them. I mean, if you're not into comic books pretty much all you know about Superman is that he's a God among insects. Then someone like Batman is more attractive. A guy without superpowers battling crime compared to a guy who got, well, everything times ten. It's a very common trait amongst "casuals". But then these same people start actually reading up on the character behind Superman, about a boy who never fit in. About a boy who not only has powers of a God, but is literally from another planet in another solar system. He never asked for this, he never wanted them. But thanks to his earthling foster parents this Alien God became arguably the most, at heart, human of all DC characters.

I really wanted Man of Steel to be the modern adaption that would prove all casual doubters wrong. I got a gang of friends to see it with me, none of them into comic books and now was my time to shine. It turned out to be a big disappointment. None of my friends really liked it. One of them said that at least now he knows everything about Superman.

Well great I got one already. Is there a fast, simple way of quoting several different posts in one reply? I don't see any insert quote buttons so right now I'm copy pasting from scratch. And I'm still thinking on what clan to join. On GSL I'm in Mars. Might either go Mercury or Sol/Luna because hipster.

Retro Shoot 'Em Ups...like Twinbee? 8D

Welcome and good to have you here! I have a fondness for DC/Marvel stuff too (Zatanna, Batman, Justice League, Spiderman, Deadpool, Squirrel Girl) although I really ought to read comics more. I'm trying to pick up some Zee centric ones here and there.

Also, we have a few WWE fans here. There's even a Skype chat if you're interested. And I have a dog who is getting on in years but an adorable thing. o/ also i'm not ashamed of dancing even when sober let alone drunk

All in all, I think you'll fit very well here. :3 Enjoy your time to the max, and see ya around~

Nice to meet you, King of the North! Excellent use of Breaking Bad .gif there. 8D

I think there's a few people here who share your interests, so you should fit in fine. There's definitely some comics fans, and a few WWE fans as well -- I think Tan even puts on a wrestling simulator thing pitting people from two online communities against each other.

RPGs, eh? Good taste. =D What ones do you like the most? And ooh, shmups. Not retro, but have you heard of Touhou before?

And yeah, we used to have a couple of Swedes (Shajiu and Tristia), but sadly they're both inactive now. I think Shajiu still lurks once in a blue moon, but yeah. ^^;

Anyway, nice to meet you~! ^^

The best adaptation is Superman 64. There you can see how much he just struggles against Lex and his victory is not handed down on a silver platter.
