... ............. Oh wow, sorry. My cat was pulling some asinine stunts just now. Hard not to look away. Welcome to the Temple, Legato! From here on, you will be a constant reminder to me that I still need to check out Trigun. I hope you don't mind. =P Also, always good to have more guitar-playing Kradenettes around. I'm trying to branch out into bluesier material, too, but I'm having a difficult time adapting to non-rock/metal playing styles. |

Yup, I've seen that video before! Same person. =) I think that one was their first? They're definitely improving over time. And while they are difficult, it's something that you improve on for sure! At first I struggled to beat it on Easy, even with all my continues, but now I've cleared them all on Normal without continuing, and am working on Extra Stages at the moment (which are super hard). As to why those characters... Yeager (spoilers for Tales of Vesperia). Ilyasviel (I know you haven't read Fate/Stay Night, so I'll keep this spoiler-free) Youmu I used because it's a great image, and conveys that "epic but graceful" feel I love out of Touhou. Youmu's half-human, half-ghost (the white blur is her ghost half), and as both a guardsperson/samurai-style thing and a gardener, there's a mix of serious and pastoral to her. What I love most in characters are contradictions or two-sidedness, basically "complex characters. I also like characters who don't get a lot of screentime, so there's a lot left to the imagination in terms of filling-in-the-blanks. In terms of fanart, rather than chibi or erotic stuff, I like things that are really well-painted in almost a classical style, or with an "epic" feel. Byakuren Parsee Patchouli Many of these characters coincided with using them in Rumble, ie. Parsee, Templesona, Patchy, etc. |

Well, I'm pretty late to the party, but it looks like you've already fit in quite nicely, hahaha. Anyway, this needs to be said: Welcome! May your stay here be long and glorious, much like Kraden's Beard! |

Was there a new Trigun adaptation? It would be the first I've heard of it. =O Most anime doesn't do much for me these days, but I've always liked shows like Yu Yu Hakusho, Akira, Cowboy Bebop, Rurouni Kenshin, and Mushi-shi. I also watched both Kill la Kill and Madoka Magica recently and was very impressed with both! As for guitar-playing, I play a bit of everything but default to alternative rock when I'm by myself, stuff like Chevelle, Silversun Pickups and Mew. Metal bands like In Flames, Dark Tranquillity and Katatonia are also go-to's when I want to practice more challenging material. But I'm definitely trying to loosen up and branch out nowadays. =P |

@enro and coatl thanks for the welcomes @asphodel can't you believe you didn't hear of it, it's been out a while I'll link you to it TRIGUN: BADLANDS RUMBLE - Official Movie Trailer …: http://youtu.be/jWBEG0VHCZ8. All very good anime's, haven't heard of the last two though. Have you seen claymore or cashern sins by any chance? Haven't really heard of those bands except chevelle, you have any favorite songs you play from those bands? Speaking about challenging stuff take a listen to LM.C some of their stuff is nuts. @hippie Good seeing you here! Doing good man, doing good how about you what is up? @satty I think it was, I'm not totally sure. Looks like they updated finally. Have you seen the newer ones and are they better? I haven't watched em yet. So you kinda like the more complex characters? @schmittles aww yeah I see, the game wasn't horrible but I can see where your coming from. Debt system eh? Yeah that sounds annoying. How's tales of xillia the first one? |
