Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

Slime will without a doubt go with someone from Spongebob.

I'll probably go with Batman, or Terry's Batman in Beyond.
The sponge barely made it but its first episode was in 1999. Can't believe it.

I'm surprised no one here has said anything about Captain Planet. Or the Rugrats. I guess it helps to have grown up in the 90s lol.

Or maybe no one wants to do those. Around in the world since '87 here.

Which would make you (like me) older than most of the members here. Just saying it's funny that nobody wants to do some of the most iconic cartoons from the 90s for a 90s cartoon theme week, but there's so much interest for cartoons that barely qualify as 90s cartoons, lol.

I do agree that no one other than Vae could be Captain Planet himself.

Do you enjoy being older than us, is that it

Anyways this thread tells me when most people say "90s cartoons" they mean "the cartoons I watched when I was young and I was born in the 90s"

Though even so most of those cartoons have a distinct 90s flavor to them, unlike many that came after them, even if many of these cartoons like Ed, Edd, n Eddy had most of their airtime in the 2000s.

I kind of get the same impression, but to be fair I could easily pick something from Johnny Bravo or Dexter's Lab. I just prefer EEnE to all of them.

For me it's a toss up between Ms. Frizzle, Carmen Sandiego, and Mozenrath.

This is an awesome idea, but there's too much choice!

I did actually think of Captain Planet, but none of the characters there really strike me as anything I'd want to stick to for a week. Was tentatively going to go with Dexter, but it's going to be hard going past a DBZ character...

Also, interestingly, South Park, Futurama, and Family Guy all started in the late 90's so characters from there could technically be picked as well, haha.

I'll mark it on my calendar.

Even though I'll probably ask for the "Surprise Me" option then...
