This game is awesome. Finally unlocked all the characters and stages. Made Mii Fighters of myself and my family and close friends too. It's just so fun to pummel on my girlfriend! |

Meanwhile I am picking up Chairzard, sure he's no Ivysofa and Ivysofa would be so much welcomed here to use bulletseed on those roll spammers, but I need another character to be good at so I don't use the same ones over and over again. |

i always found charizard boring to play (in brawl) even when i wasn't hating on it idk how the smash 4 version fares compared to brawl's in terms of not-boring but go for it |

He doesn't bite in some of his attacks that used to do that anymore. He uses his horns instead. |

So, as of late I have noticed my main habits changing. These days I'm using Mr. G&W and Dark Pit less and less and King Dedede more and more. Hell, D3's overtaken both of them in my records! Not to say I don't still use and like G&W and Dark Pit, but something about DDD just... clicked. Still got a lot of work to do before I'm really good, but he's working out surprisingly well for me so far. He's great at spacing with that ftilt, his attacks pack one hell of a punch, and my gawd that air game. So good. Of course, I no longer make the D3 n00b mistake of spamming Gordos everywhere anymore, I learned that lesson well enough =P I do wish his down B had more utility though. I can't really find much, if anything, that it's useful for... it takes almost as long as his fsmash to come out, and achieves far less with it :| |

Charizard is my nemesis in this game. He's the one AI-controlled character that consistently pummels me. He's like an uber-powerful Bowser with so much speed and ten times the aggression. |

I think Chairzard will be my go to in timed Free For Alls for both With Anyone For Fun and For Glory modes. I just build up so much damage with all other characters I use but barely could ever do the final blow until someone else does the kill. With Chairzard a nice Flare Blitz sends them flying. |

Bloody love Rosalina. I don't get why I don't see more of her online. Luma covers my ass and doesn't afraid of anything. I've been seeing a bunch of Little Mac, though. That super armor. |

It's kind of funny, though, as the majority of Little Mac players don't even know how to properly play the guy. How to defeat 90% of them: 1. Stand at the edge, prepare to shield no matter what attack they use. 2. They charge in with a dash or upsmash. Don't fall for fake-outs, especially if you have a slow grab. Very rarely you'll get grabbed, which is sort of like a ladybug trying to sting. 3. Shield-grab, toss them off the edge, edgeguard. LM's vertical is terrible. Horizontal is predictable as hell and most characters can negate it somehow. If this doesn't actually work, you might be fighting someone who knows how to play the game. ... On the other hand, a good Rosalina is indeed scary, especially if you don't have a character that can effectively deal with Luma. Even just by herself, Rosalina seems like she would be decent, let alone with that little pest around... |

So what do you all think about the rage effect? Already there are those against it, saying extra knockback will mess up combos. |

It's a thing, I guess. Don't feel too hyped about it. Only real complaint is that it makes Lucario look less special. |

I was having such an off day. I got a Peach player in For Glory 1 vs 1 at about 249% and still couldn't land the final blow. I read about vectoring which is SSB4's version of DI and how it is the reason for such survivability at high percentages. |

Vectoring is simple, but important. Dieing less is, you know, usually important. U: The Rage Effect is (imo) one of those subtle things that only really matters in competitive 1v1 matches. In my experience, the Rage Effect does have a slight effect on certain combos, but so does the foe's damage percentage. If you have high damage (and thus combo-breaking Rage) and your foe has low damage (the only place where most work anyway), then you're almost definitely already in the lead. Thus, at the end of the day, it's a strange but slight effect which narrows the skill gap ever so slightly... and is otherwise just a weird gimmick. Tl;dr--I barely give a [radio edit] about the Rage Effect. |

Vectoring is basically super crouch canceling that works in the air >_> Terrible design choice imo |
