Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

Must wait until after class. This is one of the few instances I am considering skipping in my life, if it weren't for a paper I have to turn in.

So I'm going to walk in, turn paper in, walk out.

I hate to say this, but I agree with Seccy. Personally, I always think "how good you are at the game" should include the whole package, not just "how good you are at fighting other players."
I'm afraid I don't agree; the way I see it, at least in a competitive one-on-one match, it's about the players themselves duking it out without interference as a test of raw skill.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against items on and gimmicky stages for some good old fashioned fun. But for me, in a competitive setting, it should be a fair, neutral battleground for both players to test their skills against each other without luck-based interference.

At the end of the day, a tournament's a competition. If anyone isn't interested in that environment there's no obligation to sign up, of course. I know that plenty of people here will enjoy playing this game amongst themselves whether just for fun, casual matches or to compete against each other to train and/or to see who's the better player. I'm among those people too; hell, I'd be happy to play wild 4-player free for alls with all items on and all stages allowed with you guys.

Though there are still some stages that I find awful though, casual play or no. Wily's Castle, Pac-Maze, Hanenbow, 75m and Paper Mario are some examples of these. Luckily Hanenbow and 75m aren't present in this game.

I usually pick both Random for character and stage, since #yolo

The only balanced stages are Battlefield, FD, Yoshi's Island (Brawl) and maybe Arena Ferox and Prism Tower.

Imagine a stage where it constantly rained Bob-ombs.

Most balanced stage of all time.

Speaking of, any special way to do that? I ran classic three times and each one set off a character battle so I'm thinking not.

Eff Dark Pit by the way. Him combined with his tiny little stage full of holes when you're just getting reaccustomed to fighting games and especially the controls you just set is evil.

Giraffes are adorable.

Just put matches at one stock and kept on self destructing until I unlocked each character.

The inner TF2 is strong within you.

I keep doing Smash Run for custom specials, but Classic seems to be better for harvesting them.

She and Bowser Jr. really was so hard to unlock.

Edit: As well as ROB.

Doing some online for fun matches both regular and team. Online is so far better than Brawl. Even when it lags it never got as bad as Brawl's from my experience so far.

Sidenote for some challenges: you can complete the Final Smash challenges (Pacman and Kirby, there might be one more person they ask you to use) just by spawning a Smash Ball in Training and using it.

None of the challenges are actually hard, but.

(which is going to be happening later than planned due to some technical issues and to make sure Reimu can get on board, along with any others who may be getting it a few days late)

Mii Brawler is awesome. Dunno how good, but he doesn't seem bad at all. One of his choices of neutral is basically Falcon Punch as a sidekick.

I have this.

Whiffing attacks like crazy. <3

Also Challenger Ness approaches while I'm screwing around with characters I'm not even good with. Zelda, pls. I actually almost lost that fight.
