And I'm pretty sure I remember you saying Baccano was interesting since it was another perspective on an era you were interested in. one episode. i said it was passable. the novelty wore off when i started to hate everyone and everything in the show. hence why there's three episodes that i've watched but haven't posted about yet because i couldn't articulate my thoughts beyond rage

It tends to veer off course from the "mafia turf wars" quite a bit. The first episode of Fate/Zero is mostly just exposition and setup. You meet the Servants next episode. You should give it a shot.
