I absolutely support the 3-and-out rule. A lot of times, people will be remembered for something, even if they have done nothing related to it in the appropriate timespan. For example, if you had "Least Likely to Be Owned By Kraden" in this year and had Were and Delf as nominations, do you really think anyone else would have a chance? Neither, however, has really been here over the past year - the decision is being made from older memories of them. Obviously, there's no way to objectively remove past influences from people's minds, so the only way to remedy that is to make people ineligible after a certain point. I don't see it as a case of, "Well, you won, but only because this other person couldn't enter," but more as, "You're on the same level as this guy who won so many times he was banned from entering." Best Writer and Best RPer seem a bit redundant to me, but eh. Most Ship and Most Shippable are dumb, one or the other, or neither. Maybe a contrasting award to Most Evil? Most Pure/Kind/Nice/something? |

I like the idea of a "nicest" award. Other various ideas: Hardest worker Most hipster Best recommendations Most responsible/trustworthy Maybe most ship or whatever could be like temple heartthrob/sweetheart or something ridiculous and silly like that... Temple casanova or whatever. Best real life photo - not most attractive, but whoever has shared the most epic portion of their real life in our photo topic like squees cool job or a good cosplay or someone doing something cool or in an awesome place. Biggest Golden Sun fan. I dunno this is hard. |

Well, there is definitely a bit of overlap between Best Writer and Best RPer, but then again there are those who don't RP and still do a lot of writing. That probably goes without saying, though. I do think it's good to have multiple categories for the Temple's writers, which is why I also support the idea of separate awards for digital artists, artisan craft-ers, etc. Like what Elsa was proposing on the last page. I admit I don't really see much distinction between Most Ship and Most Shippable. And actually, during the voting process I regarded the "Most Worthy" award as the closest thing to Most Pure/Kind/Nice, because the conditions were so (intentionally?) vague. Since Most Worthy is by nature just a "just vote for whoever you think fits the description" thing anyway, perhaps it could be refined into what HJ is suggesting? EDIT: I quite like the idea of Most Hipster. |

I don't think there should be ANY kind of award relating to real life. |

iunno, Miral could beat out Peytral for "most hipster." Some great suggestions here! We should've done this -before- the Board Awards.

It's an award with no real prize other than saying, "Hey look, I'm known for this." I don't think being locked out of it is that big a deal. Anyone who doesn't play Mafia is locked out of those awards. |
