Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

Tragedies are an incomplete picture of the world just as much as mindless happy endings are! Let's have some balance, huh?
Adna, once you're finished with this, I'm going to go ahead and surprise nobody by recommending Babylon 5 to you. Despite your general distaste for fiction, I think it has exactly the level of realism that you'd like, with a good mixture of tragedy and comedy and an ending that's neither grim and hopeless nor saccharine.

Also, I do think that it's entirely possible you might change your opinion about Madoka once you get to the very end. I'm not entirely sure though, so I'm just going to wait and see.

Puh-lease, I'm not trying to be a pessimist or anything but there are literally countless things wrong with the world. Nothing is fine.

There's a difference between mindless happy endings and a nuanced and character-driven tragedy. >.>

I dunno, I think you will give into the suffering of watching this show and become a witch instead. Or a wizard? What do magical boys become?

Nah, the post I remember definitely did not have a Crash tone. Certainly wasn't Vae either.

His posts are in Californian, so I'm not surprised an outsider like you doesn't understand.

Hey man, the language test told me I speak fluent Californian, but I still can't understand a word he says.

Tragedies are stupid. The only tragedy I enjoy is the story arc of Martin the Warrior over Brian Jacques' books Mossflower, Martin the Warrior, and The Legend of Luke. And it's not even a classic Greek tragedy. It's more of a drama with elements of comedy.
> Bashing tragedy

I see we have completely irreconcilable taste.
