Spoiler: click to toggle Another reason to keep an innocent child-like Elfnein is to convince her to work on the Chateau in the first place. But we don't know how long Elfnein's been around, or if she was created with the intent of using her to ignite the gears. The Symphogears are a recent thing compared to how long she's been alive. @Dess Skarmorybasa is the only way to go. Its wing feathers were used as swords, it doesn't get any more perfect. I'd say Kangaskhan Mamacat is a pretty obvious option. Maybe Marowak also an option? Went from a Cubone in G to a Marowak in GX, thinking like how black Gugnir lost the cape in GX and then using Airgetlam and also being less of a crybaby in general Throh Genjuuro? Machoke? Something jacked

Though yes, Genjuro needs to be a Machamp. (Ogawa could be either a Weavile or Greninja, but I digress.) Skarmory actually is a better pick, thematics-wise, than Aegislash, so I'll cede that. Hoofs (our resident dessposter above) wanted to move away from the whole hurr durr sword bit, but that's still a significant bit of Tsubasa still. Even if she's moved away from being the emotionless sentinel and gotten her wings, she's still a bit of a stoic IMO. So Skarmory - STL/FLY - works great. Maria as Kangaskhan would work... but then we run up against Mega issues, since Kirika's an Absol IIRC. shrug
