I only just saw episode 5 Kiri and Shirabe were pretty badass in this one; liked their focus.
Though I'm starting to think they should have called this season "Daddy Issues" instead of GX.

GX 7  Maria is awesome and the Airgetlam song is either the best or second best solo song this season but couldn't they have killed off a different doll oh well if this is another cocktease with actually dealing with Hibiki's issues though I swear to god at least the protagonists have realized the dolls retreating is weird/we know that the dolls want something with the Ignite gems also why is Tsubasa so cute this season |

GX 7 The only thing I don't like about Airgetlam is the activation phrase. It doesn't feel right. Everything else about it is [radio edit]ing great.

Rock Paper Scissors It's actually p. common in Asia as far as I can tell. Korean variety shows do it all the time, you basically keep repeating the round until everybody's picked the same two signs. Then if you're going for one winner/loser the winners/losers play among themselves until only one person wins. The "cool scissors" are a thing in Korea too, p. sure. You can kind of see an example of both here.
GX7 The amount of people getting mad at GX actually dealing making moves that imply they'll eventually deal with things that actually give Hibiki character development is hilarious.
RIP Garie but it's ok, it just menas Leiur will have her chance to shine eventually.
Also lmfao Garie died for a [radio edit]ing SD card.

But agreeing with the Boydmaster - if this gets cockteased, I'm going to flip 50 tables - especially since I've been wanting to see Hibiki backstory from the start.
And yeah, why'd it have to be Garie? Garie was the best unit, but no, now we have to deal with the inferior Autoscorrangers. And I guess Micha, too. Micha's all right.

GX 7 RIP Garie indeed, but I feel like the dolls are up to something. Garie's whole "I'M GOING TO BE THE FIRST" (to die???) as well as her wallscroll lighting up, and their whole apparently "training" the Gears into being stronger... as well as that it's been Ignite mode killing them all the time, makes me feel like it's all apart of the plan.
Garie's expressions and movements were really hilariously awesome this episode, though, I really enjoyed it. And the fight scene was pretty hype as [radio edit].
Maria's writing is fantastic this season, she's quickly becoming one of my favourite Gears. I love her embracing and admitting her own weakness, as well as her rapport with Elfie there.
Daddy issues is a much better Hibiki arc than "herf derf I've forgotten how to sing and fight," considering the daddy thing is something shared between several characters (Carol/Elfie, Tsubasa, Chris but not in a negative way per se), etc.
lol the beach fanservice, so pls
And yeah Hoofs, rock-paper-scissors like that is pretty routine in Asia, you see it in larger groups than that even
It's pretty much the authoritative decision-making process

GX ep 7 This episode was great, love the focus on Maria we've had this episode(well, the season as a whole too) and her fighting style is legit. Really digged her motherly personality towards Elfnein(and Tsubasa too, kek). Cool scissors and sunglasses Tsubasa is the greatest. Oh boy daddy issues Hibiki, I'm glad they're moving on to this instead of "I can't sing guys, sorry" now, should be interesting to see more of her as a character. - Quote:

GX ep 8 Really solid episode. I really like the handling of the inter-character conflicts here. And the fight scenes were pretty awesome! It's also cool seeing Hibiki's more complicated issues bleed over into how she fights and conducts herself, and that leading into Shirabe and Kirika's conflicts.
Obligatory "hah, GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY" because wow this episode was yuribait, but in a pretty excellent way.
Also that's second love confession in the Nymphoqueer series, let the shippening REIGN
