It's more that the suddenly "am i kawaii uguu" is just saccharine. If a guy did it my reaction would be the same. However, I can appreciate that it's Chris finally letting go of her past and being able to be normal* *except G later dumps all over this, but yeah. It was mostly that it's just a fluffy happy song with not much to make it interesting.

Spoiler: click to toggle You could argue that her not telling Tsubasa or the others what she was doing when she pretended to betray them goes against that somewhat, except it was then very easy for her to accept Tsubasa's help with the whole double KO fake out. She is also not "suddenly" uguu, she was cute almost the entire time she showed her actual feelings, all the way back to getting embarrassed when Genjuro told Hibiki/Tsubasa that he sent her to help them near the end of season 1. Since, you know, that's what a tsundere is.
