So I finally sat down to watch this.

It starts and I'm like... why are things repeating themselves so weirdly? I thought this was a sequel. Why is everyone here? Why is that thing that ate Mami's head here?

First fight: Ah yeah, you magical girls. You strike your fabulous poses. They also have one weird little ritual at the end. I keep feeling like this Bebe will snap at any moment and go chomp on Mami's head.

Some weird facial recognition going on by Homura. Kyubey is weirdly... innocent this whole time still. Bebe still creeps me out >_>

Welcome to Madoka Magica: Acid Trip. And here we see Homura go cool mode as well. The start of many, many hair flips. So many hair flips.

I knew Bebe wasn't the cause of everything, even if it does creep me out... then Homura and Mami fight. How Mami does some of that stuff, I don't know. But awesome fight. I like Mami the most too, so yay more screen time During the talk between Sayaka and Homura I began thinking that Homura is actually the witch.

The Incubators sure are some always scheming creatures. They need to take a hike >_> Homura made a well-thought out sudden decision. She sacrifices herself to despair, but thwarts the Incubators.

Now we see the other magical girls teaming up. Interesting we get to see Bebe like this.

Now Homura gets to be saved after all. The others sure pulled through in the end. I felt a few tears well up here for some reason. Homura finally gets to- wut :I No... noooo... oh my gosh why...

You idiot Homura. Become a demon, get seductive mouth shots. How selfish can you get... you could have just moved on and still been with her... instead you had to have her all to yourself... talk about the ultimate act of selfishness. Trapping everyone in this false place... dragging Madoka down... even contemplating complete destruction...

I know this is Madoka, a story of despair... but I didn't expect this. I wonder if there'll be a 4th movie now... I would not like it if they ended it here. Talked enough about "future enemies too."

I wonder what the end is supposed to mean. She summoned her soul... gem? Whatever it is, and fell off the cliff. You know, as messed up as the Incubators are, I felt bad for Kyubey. His mangled form and all. I just feel bad seeing suffering.

So all in all, it was a good movie. My sum reaction to the conclusion is: Really Homura >_> Really? >_> Talk about losing all respect for you. You really are evil now. This whole movie felt like a stand alone sequel at first, but now it feels like the start of something new. Have to mess with the happiness somehow. I also like the OP and ED.

And whenever people mentioned "final form" I had a thought of "This isn't even my final form!" go through my mind.

(And on the Homura note, I think she's an idiot teenager, but she's pitiable because she caused all her own dang problems and can't even see it enough to deal with those issues in a healthy way. I certainly don't worship her like I do Madokami 8D.)
