Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

I've enjoyed most RPGs I've played, so...hm. Maybe FF Revenant Wings
It wasn't uber awful, it just disappoints me that it had so much potential and it was mostly squandered.

The plot sucked so hard, but the fighting was pretty good I thought.

Watch out, guys, we've got taste worse than Peytral's over here.

Anyway, I hold to this day that Cross Edge is not only the worst RPG I've played but also probably one of the worst games I've had the displeasure of buying/paying for, period. Under what circumstance that game was supposed to sell copies, I don't [radio edit]in' know.

For your closure, the plot of the game was a time-traveling group looking to plug the Water Entity that threatened to flood the world. The name of their ship was Talon, and the name of the final boss was Xagor. It was typical early-ish RPG fare from Japan. Imaginative world with a soulless main character and a series of NPC's that are given undue emphasis and then never talked about again.
Final Fantasy Legend III, which I still need to play. ngl I was hoping you were talking about the first one, because I love that buggy, poorly-translated game.

Also, the Talon Theme:

And how it was rendered in the remake.

I know that's all YOU ever think about-slash-notice, but frankly the game didn't throw any boobs in my face. In fact, it didn't throw anything at all in my face, unless we're going to go ahead and count disappointment as a thing you throw into people's faces, and even then games like Xenoblade did a better job of that so really the game is now completely superfluous.

Actually I was being 100% serious, I could've sworn I heard it had a lot of fanservice like multiple hot springs scenes and stuff.

Sound the horn and call the cry: "How many of them can we make die?"

If nothing else, I'm glad we can all at least agree that The Fellowship of the Ring is unplayable.

Well it sure as [radio edit] didn't drop them on me, that's for certain.

I just remembered that Nostalgia was pretty awful. It had a fairly enjoyable (to me) skill system, but other than that it was just bad/forgettable.

I honestly enjoyed Nostalgia. Plot lacked anything resembling creativity and most of the cast was one-dimensional, but the gameplay was decent and I liked the art. Definitely not a great game, but more forgettable than actually bad.

I was really pleased in general with the music in the game as well. *nodnod*

@ Boyd: this just reiterates that I've a shitty sampling of RPG's. I don't even know what they are, apparently.

Oh yeah, Digimon World 1, can't believe I forgot about that game. I must have repressed my memories of it because of how god awful it is. Second one was an improvement but it still wasn't good either.

Nope, never played it.... Ever crossed your mind that maybe Digimon World 1 just a bad game?

Like seriously, I can not stand having to raise a Digimon, bringing him through rigorous training, feeding him, making sure he's always happy, watching him prance around in fights, making sure he uses the toilet when he poops and tending to his every need, ONLY TO HAVE THE DAMN THING DIE JUST BECAUSE HE FEELS LIKE IT. Then having to restart the same process with a new Digimon whilst exploring some dumb island. The whole game is an endless cycle of trying to balance exploration and making sure your Digimon makes it to a toilet when he has to poop. I don't know about you, but that's not my kind of game personally.
