Their art is second-tier, their storytelling is second-tier, and thus their movies are second-tier. Hell, sometimes their storytelling is even secondHAND. Also, they ride their series for too long. Shrek was plowed again and again like an old, tired whore. Same with Madagascar. The only good Dreamworks films are Prince of Egypt and How to Train Your Dragon. Pixar master race or gtfo.

Basically doing exactly what Dreamworks did with Madagascar: MAKE THINGS FOR CHILDREN THEN MERCHANDISE THE SHIT OUT OF IT FOR MONEY. Also unlike Shrek (beyond the second one because [radio edit] yeah shrek 2), the Madagascar movies were actually good once you got past the trailers, there was a hell of a lot more to the story.

Aliens, but not enough that I would recommend it to everyone I know. Road to El Dorado is also a nice movie, along with the above-mentioned Prince of Egypt and How to Train Your Dragon. was Robots a Dreamworks film
