I remember several weeks ago when I was with my friend in a convenience store. We were talking about cosplay shenanigans and body painting, and I said, "I obviously won't be painting myself grey when I get older but I'll probably be painting myself blue because GIL'S BACKSTORY WON'T BE FINISHED YET." and then it ended like two weeks later Also, I very happily donated money to the kickstarter. |

It cut off at a really random point, and some of the extras at the back of the book seemed a bit last minute / lacking polish. I was more disappointed by the random cut off point though D: |

I liked the first book, but I'm not a fan of Michelle Czajkowski herself, so I feel really ambivalent about supporting the Kickstarter. |

I criticized her once in a reblog of someone's post. It wasn't even anything too bad, either. I was remarking on how she had requested that fans of her comic not make any crossovers with Homestuck because she wanted the comic to get noticed on its own. While I can understand her viewpoint, it didn't sit well with me; I personally thought that it created an uncomfortable precedent. The problem was that on that same day, I believe someone had criticized her for using part of her Kickstarter to pay off her college loans. I had no idea, and was sort of subjected to her wrath. By "wrath" I mean that she reblogged my post and replied angrily (in all caps). I've since deleted the post since I didn't want anyone coming after me, but I remember that the person had asked why she was so angry and she said something along the lines of, "because I have a right to be angry oh my god." Michelle deleted the post within five minutes. Normally, I would have let this slide - after all, she was stressed and kind of pissed off with everything going on. However, I continued to notice this type of behavior from her. I'd occasionally see someone criticize her, and she'd post an incredibly passive-aggressive response, which she'd delete within a few minutes. I find this type of behavior to be really immature, and it's evident of the fact that she doesn't take criticism well and acts like a child about it. Some of my friends have noted the same thing. |

Hyper: That's thoroughly disappointing to know that she can't take constructive criticism like a champ. At least her story is going strong for her right now... Maybe she just got too used to having everyone pamper her so having a perceived negative feedback hurts. Man, I really like this web comic too..... |
