That is true. Most good original works are animated movies or OVA's.

 I prefer manga. I'm a draw-er, and I like making comics of daily life stuff. It's really interesting to examine the drawings and panel transitions and stuff. I like anime too though.

GaoGaiButts is a pretty fun show if you can get past the hilarious fanservice. That's about it so far, though.

Turns out that four of my favorite anime (and a bunch of other that I liked) have manga attached to them. I know you're not saying that all anime adaptations are bad, but I'm curious as to which ones you're talking about.

Or you can call out my bad taste in anime. You can do that too.

meh. I only glanced briefly and saw Claymore which also has a 6. Either way it's one of the lowest.

Edit: Also, either way I'm rolling my eyes.

Also uh Seccy some anime are original, like Madoka Magica, Tiger & Bunny, etc

Not everything is an adaptation.
Yeah, it's an in general thing.
