And before someone says it, no, this doesn't necessarily belong in the general discussion thread. >_> Also, please mark spoilers if necessary. Anyway, for me, in no particular order: Rurouni Kenshin episode 30, for Kenshin's battle with Saito. Naruto Shippuden 167 for obvious reasons. FMA Brotherhood episode 54 because Spoiler: click to toggle

Why does this thread exist? What's wrong with posing that question in the anime thread? No, you are not exempt from this question, especially since you had the bad idea to make this thread, CONSCIOUSLY NOTE that people were gonna say your thread was dumb (it is), and yet post it anyway. |

Dude, what the [radio edit]. There's no reason this can't have its own thread. It's not like we have to keep literally all anime discussion in the anime thread. >_> Anyways, uh...shit, there's a lot for me. Most of which would make sense to literally 0% of you since they're from anime nobody's watched.

This. I can't remember it too well, but when I was 5 and watching Tenchi Muyo, Tenchi was getting his ass kicked by some dude in grassy plains, and then his dad came and began kicking that dude's ass. Me and my bro found it pretty badass. Also, pretty much any major DBZ fight and the final episode of Penguindrum. |

And to answer your questions Bond, you're proving my point. I mentioned people calling my thread dumb because it has happened several times, even though it's absolutely stupid to think any and all anime/manga discussion should stick to one thread. There's nothing "wrong" with posting this in the anime thread, but there's nothing wrong with making a seperate thread about it either. Anyway, speaking of DBZ, the episode where SSJ2 Gohan owns Cell has always been one of my favorites (as well as his transformation to SSJ2). |

Yeah, pretty much the ONE time Slash didn't make a thread for no reason was the time you chose to jump on him for all of his threads. Nice going. Anyway (since I'm the only one who's cool enough to talk about Fate/Zero in here since Peytral's too hipster), the summoning scene in episode 1, the following Noble Phantasm, Fate/Zero Episode 11 spoilers and the fight between Spoiler: click to toggle in episode 23, which I won't link since context is needed to fully appreciate it.There, Fate/Zero is now properly represented. |

I always have a reason for my threads. I admit sometimes I make them without thinking, but for example, there was nothing wrong with that Elfen Lied thread, and if something like that happens again, I won't request it be deleted this time. |

Eh, sure, I'll bite. Some of the top most memorable moments in anime for me: - Ending of code geass. - The moment kira first uses SEED in gundam seed. That, and pretty much the entire plotline with andrew wattfeld. - Death note ep... 26, I think? The scene I linked at the end of jacob's mafia game. "I... WIN." - TTGL ep8. I don't need to say anything more. Also later on, when they achieve the Tengan Toppa Gurren Lagann. - Madoka magica ep3. See above. - Kara no kyoukai (second movie). "I don't want to die!" "I... want to kill you." - Pretty much the whole of the MISAKA arc in toaru majutsu no index. - Steins;gate ending (or almost ending). The moment it all comes together and the final chevhok's gun is fired. (Admittedly I read the VN for this and didn't watch the anime, but whatever. Anime watchers will know which scene I'm talking about anyway.) - Bakemonogatari. The episode where the ED is first given real meaning (ep11, I think). The rest of these I didn't think of until after looking at a list of anime I've seen, but they're pretty memorable moments of their respective anime: - The sake oath in kamisama no memochou. - The scene where that one guy loses his eye in deadman wonderland. Memorable not because it was a powerful moment, but because... yeah... ![]() - - - Pretty much the end of every major arc in digimon adventure. - Interestingly enough, the beginning of gundam 00, when celestial being first reveals itself to the world. Also, ep23 (you know the scene) and the even more emotional ep44 (the part with the orbital elevator coming down). Ep47 gets a dishonorable mention for being memorably lame. GN pixie dust at its finest. - Blue Comet SPT Lazyner. Just... Blue Comet SPT Layzner. I feel terrible for forgetting this amazing anime until looking at my list. I've only seen the first 6 episodes so far, but every one of them is incredible, even in spite of the somewhat lame first villain. I don't think I could pick out a specific moment as being "most memorable." Tbh, I'm not even sure why I stopped watching it. |

If we're talking about EDs being memorable, pretty much all of FMA Brotherhood's, especially 4 and 5. Opening 5 is amazing too. |

Oh goddammit I keep forgetting that I need to watch this. Is it really that good? Anyways, uh, I'll bite too, I guess. Gonna go down my anime list and if something pops into my head quickly enough, I'll put it down: - Berserker vs. Gilgamesh and both times Ionian Hetairoi are used in Fate/Zero. - The big reveal of Daichi Maryuu in Gaiking. Heroes check out some destroyed city, Dvorak's Symphony No. 9 starts playing. One of the characters finds the Big Bad drinking tea on top of a building, they talk some. Then suddenly, giant [radio edit]ing battleship/giant robot appears from under the ground as the fourth movement starts playing. Cue epic fight scene and heroic sacrifices, all to New World Symphony. - The fight with Palparepa in GaoGaiGar FINAL. Main character brutally beats the hell out of the infinitely-regenerating villain faster than he can regenerate, all while giving a hot-blooded speech about why he sucks and how cowardly he is. Cue the antagonist saying "[radio edit] this shit", flying out of his mech, and stabbing the protagonist through the chest. Only to get a face full of fist as the result. Also pretty much every second of the series. - The first usage of Stoner Sunshine and the final battle in Getter Robo Armageddon. The latter of which involves cutting moons in half with giant energy tomahawks and ripping holes through space-time. - The Mach Drill/Booby Drill Attack scene in Kotetsushin Jeeg, along with another scene where the main character of the 50-year prequel returns. He's still around 20-years-old, but his old girlfriend/partner is 70. Cue really heartwarming scene where he accepts her despite everything. And this is in a series that's about a vulgar and mindlessly violent as it gets. - A lot of scenes in Mawaru Penguindrum. ;~; - When Kouji reobtains the Mazinkaiser in Mazinkaiser: Deathmatch! The Great General of Darkness. It falls from orbit, crashing into the ground and exploding, melting a bunch of enemies...then from the smoke, ROCKET PUNCHES. Then amazing beatdowns while the Kaiser's theme plays. Also the subsequent fight with the General of Darkness. - Master Asia's death in G Gundam. ;~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~; - The Battle of A Baoa Qu in Gundam 0079, and the Gundam destroying the Zeong's head with its skyward shot while on autopilot. -The final "fight" in Gundam 0080. ;~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~; - Amuro and the Nu Gundam pushing a giant [radio edit]ing asteroid out of Earth's orbit at the end of MSG: Char's Counterattack, with the world-wide aurora manifesting due to his power. - The destruction of the Angel Halo in Victory Gundam, when pretty much every character in the show dies. - Kamille's Wave Rider Crash in Zeta Gundam, where he kills the Big Bad but then proceeds to get mindraped and his mind reverts to that of an infant's. - When Gainer uses his Overskill in Overman King Gainer. He pilots his giant robot and plays an online video game at the exact same time. And manages to beat the nearly-unkillable enemies and beat everybody online at the same time. - RahXephon episode 19. Just... RahXephon episode 19. Holy [radio edit]ing shit. - Kazuma's and Ryuho's final fight in s-CRY-ed. They've been rivals throughout the entire series, but it took them 26 episodes before they finally get to have a serious fight. And it's amazing. - The reveal of the Big Bang Punch in Shin Mazinger, along with several other scenes. - The first time the Infinity Punch is used in Sousei no Aquarion. - Too many scenes to specify in both Super Robot Wars anime. - All of episode 5 in Gunbuster. And the end of episode 4 and most all of episode 6. - A lot of scenes in Diebuster too, but most notably the reveal of Buster Machine 7. - The fight between the Turn-A and Turn-X in Turn-A Gundam. Moonlight Butterflies. Everywhere. - The end of Voices of a Distant Star. Ffffffffff |

Kizumonogatari: I haven't watched the entire thing, but so far probably when Araragi visited Sengoku. |

YESSSSSSSSSSS I love that OP. So cute~ =3c Also, the mayoi snail arc. "Arararagi." "That's too many Rs." "I stuttered." @Pey: Yes, layzner is that good. I don't know if it *stays* that good since I'm only 6 episodes in it. But at the very least, what I watched is very good. I've currently got it rated as a 10 on MAL. |
