It was very interesting to see how they handled things. I guess it seemed a little rushed, but there was a lot of stuff they had to include to introduce the series properly in a single episode, so its totally understandable. 25 more episodes should certainly be enough to let them take it a good pace for the rest of it though.

Spoiler: click to toggle I can't help but feel like they're rushing it way too much. I know they have a schedule to keep, but if they're going to cut out that much from the story the episode was based on, then I have to wonder if making episodes out of side-stories is even a good idea in the first place. At this point, I'm hoping the flow of the anime ends up like FMA brotherhood with a fast start, but a nicely paced rest of the story. It'd be pretty bad if they just keep going fast and try to jam the 3rd and 4th Volumes (ALO arc) into this 26 episode series. At any rate, I was pretty happy about getting to see stuff that the side-story described, like the place of the pre-boss meeting as well as the boss and his room. I really wish they hadn't cut Argo the rat though, she was cool.
