Golden Sun battle system is meeeeeh, but graphics and music push the game as a whole into perfectly adequate for me. I also agree that SA games suck. But I love them. :3 I don't know if I have many unpopular game opinions. I hated Devil Survivor purely because it was ugly. Couldn't really get into Ocarina of Time or some classic PS1 final fantasy games for the same reason. I recognize that this is awful. |

Except Bioshock, Metroid Prime and such exist. But yeah, it's still better than most of the typical FPSs that are out there. Dark Souls haters pls go and git gud.
It's Miral, she's programmed to hate everything. I can see not liking Golden Sun, I'm not really a big fan of the series either. Hating Goldeneye though? I can't even if Perfect Dark is way better, Goldeneye is still a really fun game. |

Remember it is possible to form a community based around something eveyone knows is lackluster or even horrible. There's even a silly community based around ironically liking the movie Foodfight. |

Isn't that the one with Charlie Sheen? I'm sorry, but you have to be lying. Nobody could possibly like that unfinished mess.
I'm sorry that you can't handle the truth. |

I am only saying what I observe. I cannot tell what is trolling or not. No need to personally believe me. Okay maybe I phrased the entire thing wrong. I was not sure if "ironically love" is the correct term but more like a community based on making fun of bad things. Here is a forum I lurk at which has a few youtube channels devoted to annotating bad shows and movies including Foodfight and the Mario Bros Movie: http://z13.invisionfree.com/Annotation_Station/index.php?act=idx Here is an example of what they do. They annotated Ratatoing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4f67GW3FQpw |

Okay, that's a fair point. I only really have hitbox issues in pvp, but they can be pretty bad there. Especially with the [radio edit]ing katanas, for some reason. |

Golden Sun is pretty cool, but I will admit that there's nothing particularly special about it. TLA alone saves the series from just being average though. |

I think the Djinn system is unique enough to merit recognition. Never really thought much innovation was needed beyond that. |

Yeah no Sonic game is good, 2 qualifies as mediocre but that's it Generations could have been okay but its final boss was literally the worst thing I have ever played in a video game And whoa before we completely write off Bethesda lets not forget NES masterpiece Where's Waldo? Oh yeah and DOOM and DOOM 2 are still better than all the other FPSes mentioned so far Edited by Crash, Nov 28 2014, 08:27 PM.

Also in response to Miral, Skyward Sword being the worst 3D Zelda isn't *that* unpopular of an opinion. Most people were disappointed with it, at the very least. Another unpopular opinion of mine is that The Wind Waker isn't really that great, in all honesty. It's just good. The story is fine, but the side quests/story ratio is horrible, and the side quests themselves suck so bad. It kind of pains me to admit that I don't like it as much as I used to, because it used to be my favorite Zelda game. I still really enjoy the main quest though. |

Definitely agree with you on the quality of Wind Waker, Slash. I have nothing against the art style, but I never liked the main quest, nor the dungeons or characters. The final battle ranks up there among the series's best, though, and I actually do like the sailing and exploration segments. It's my least favorite Zelda game by a large margin, but it definitely isn't bad. @ZFallen: My main criticism of The Broken Seal these days is that its setting seems so underdeveloped. Worldbuilding is actually GS's biggest draw for me, so the lack of variety in towns, dungeons and cultures compared to TLA and DD makes the game a bit boring for me. I get the impression that, despite TBS and TLA being developed simultaneously or nearly so, Camelot hadn't fully mapped out Weyard, and thus the setting suffered for it. Never mind the fact that everything from Fuchin Temple to Suhalla is just dull as all get out plot-wise (Tolbi Ship and Colosso being the two worst segments of any GS game). But then, I'm one of those people who never cared for the Tolbi plotline. =P Dark Dawn's plot is convoluted, sure, and its characters derivative, but hell if I don't like Matthew and company more than their parents from TBS. So much more personality there, too, Himi notwithstanding. Also I love the changes the game made to Angara so much that I can let the retcons slide. --- As for SSB4 being worse than the others...well, I'm sure that it'll do well with the competitive scene. The game plays very well and the fighters are all pretty balanced. That's definitely impressive. I don't dislike the game. The lack of decent single-player content, the changes made to classic mode, the gimmicky stages...those are the game's weaknesses, to me. Also, I don't like the roster, BUT, that's more a result of me being out of the loop in regards to Nintendo's output in the last five years and wanting old favorites to be included. So that's definitely a subjective thing. I missed out on Xenoblade, lost interest in Pokemon after Gold, never cared for Mega Man, didn't like Fire Emblem until Awakening changed my mind, etc. Basically, I don't like it just because "I don't know, man, I just don't." |

Rules bloat was never the problem with 3.5; the real problem was that so little of it was open content. |

Golden Sun is mediocre at best and became popular because it was the only thing at the time. Bastion is pretty boring. Ys sucks. idk I can't think of anything else. |
