any fps where the reticule sways naturally across the entire [radio edit]ing screen and the bullets do not travel in the direction where you put your mouse is objectively and inherently worse than games like cs or quake. I like borderlands 2, but it's shit compared to cs, and handsome jack and all the little idiosyncrasies do not make up for it. Uematsu has a handful of songs that only stand out because they're more iconic than anything else, other than that he's a pretty mediocre composer. majula>nexus>firelink, this also goes for their theme songs and the level ups. kotor is a horrible game witcher 1 was also a horrible game, 2 was amazing though csgo is far better than 1.6, and i say this as someone who has played all 3 versions most of bastion's soundtrack is not very good, but 1 or 2 songs are amazing bioshock infinite was a game that knew how to do presentation, and that was it. Plotholes everywhere (which I'm willing to let slide by), half the characters were idiotic, Comstock was ridiculous, and worst of all the gameplay felt kind of, not limiting, but didn't allow me to use my powers to their full potential. Fallout 3, NV, and Skyrim are all functionally broken rpgs, and no amount of mods will ever fix them. I spent around 50 hours in NV before I realized all I really wanted was bigger and better guns, I could go to MMO or diablo for that. I actually don't play either of them. Dear Esther is not a video game, and neither is Gone Home. Maybe some kind of 3d visual novel or something, but definitely not games. 99% of indie games are shit. Total and utter shit. The 1% are the ones that might actually get sequels and whatnot. If the new cod gets dedicated servers, then it will become the best one to date, better than MW1. There's probably more but I'll have to think of them later. |

I despise the Advance Wars assist trophy. Advance Wars is my favorite Nintendo game and seeing a lazy sprite rip makes me so angry. I rather have a losing Smash streak than see that thing. And why is it part of Duck Hunt's Classic Mode ending, why? |

This is pretty much what everyone outside the Sonic fandom thinks though. People who think Adventure or Heroes is better than Sonic 06 only says it because of nostalgia. They're on the same level of shit. I agree on Sonic Generations. Even though I'm not the biggest fan of CD. Although the GBA and DS Sonic games are on another level. Generations was at least the first playable and even enjoyable 3D Sonic. |

I actually liked Sonic Rush because it at least did something new, did it well and provides some nice fast gameplay even if it does look a little bad and had some general bugs (Which most of the games had anyway). Sonic 06 is different to me because I reckon it would have been pretty good if it were actually finished and not rushed for Christmas release. I don't like what they did to Blaze and her backstory that was established only a year prior, and also what they continued to do with Eggman Nega afterwards whenever Silver is involved. Sonic Rivals 1 and 2 were great ideas for gameplay and had reasonable stories, but they play like shit. I enjoy the Metal Sonic 3.0 parts more than enough though. |

- Dark Dawn is better than The Broken Seal. - Dragon Age II is better than Origins. - Dark Souls II would be better than the original were it not for the hitbox issues. As it stands, the two games are equally awesome. - Superstar Saga is the only Mario RPG that isn't, at the very least, good. The M&L subseries has improved with each installment. - Sticker Star will be a cult classic twenty years from now. - Super Paper Mario is underrated and has the best plot and villain of any Mario RPG. Also one of the best soundtracks. - Chrono Trigger is amazing in spite of its weak cast. - Oblivion has the best main plot of the three latest Elder Scrolls games. Morrowind's was fascinating but marred by the unnecessary (though skippable under the right conditions) Hortator and Nerevarine Cult quests, and Skyrim's was awful because of its over-reliance on the "chosen one" trope, among other details. - Metroid Fusion > Super Metroid. And the Prime Trilogy [radio edit]s all over 2D Metroid in general. - Melee = Brawl > 64 > SSB4. |

Yeah I meant it as a whole other level of good. GBA and DS Sonic is in the same spirit as the classics and I love them for it. Especially the first for Advance. |

I personally prefer Sonic Advance 2 for whatever reason, it just feels better to me than the other two do. Sonic Battle isn't really a Sonic game lol Not bad though despite how easy it is to cheese the AI. |

No, SA1/2 is not liked purely because of nostalgia. SA1 and 2 don't have constant bugs that hinder progress, for one thing. Also, while Sonic Heroes was meh, it had an awesome soundtrack. SOOOONIC HEROEESSSS |

You're kidding right? I can't get through Emerald Coast because I keep on falling through the floor during one of the automatic sections. And no Sonic Heroes is the worst theme, only topped by Race To Win from Sonic Rivals 2 which isn't as cheesy but is just plain silly. |

Not buying a game primarily developed by Intelligent Systems until a new Advance Wars has an official announcement and the only exception is the GBA AW games on the VC. Last nonAW game I purchased from IS is Pushmo. |

Get ready for some truth bombs. There isn't a single good Sonic game, as it's a trash series. Bethesda hasn't made a single good game either. Every Final Fantasy (Except for III, [radio edit] III) is pretty good but none of them are particularly noteworthy. There isn't anything wrong with games in a series being formulaic. All three Golden Sun games are awful. Dark Souls and Dark Souls II are both very mediocre. Demon's Souls is alright. Goldeneye is one of the worst games on the N64. Gens 1 and 2 of Pokemon are both terrible and nostalgia is the only reason anyone likes either of them. Most NIS games are also pretty bad. Super Mario 64 is also a terrible game. Skyward Sword is the worst 3D Zelda, followed by Ocarina of Time. Smash for 3DS/Wii U isn't very fun. Project M is more fun to play than Melee but way less exciting to watch. Doubles in Pokemon (and by extension, VGC) is a very stale format. Just to start. |

For casuals or competitive play? Casuals is subjective but imo smash4 is up in the air for competitive. I think as it stands it'll sit one rung below melee and if smash community ever decides to move past melee it'll be the next smash. Or maybe p:m, we'll see. Damn I know this is unpopular opinions but holy shit. Also why are you on a GS fansite if you think GS games themselves are ass? Edited by Momentime, Nov 28 2014, 11:49 AM.
