Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

Love that the Jeigan characters are becoming more usable. Seth was beast in FE8, and Titania was a pretty solid unit in 9.
... Seth and Titania are Oifeys. Seth is also somehow able to solo the entire game. 8 has a lot of units with good growths, and very few that have bad growths.

Xenoblade is enjoyable, but not as "10/10 best game ever" people claim it to be. Can't compare it to other Xeno games though.

This. While its an incredible game, it didn't exactly make me want to marathon for long periods of time. 9/10 for sure, and given how I tend to enjoy it, I'll definitely prefer the portable version of the game.

but both incarnations of marcus were very valuable earlygame on hard mode if you don't make the mistake of making him eat your EXP

and as frozen said seth and titania are oifeys (also on a side note i think it's stupid that seth can solo the entire game but i'm going to blame the weak-ass monsters that don't even have any stat past 15 on endgame maps)

I actually prefer for there to be a jeigan in the first place because the ai always goes for them if you empty their inventory and they can act as a great tank well into the midgame because of high starting defense and speed. Sure at chapter 1 and 2 they take literally no damage, but by say chapter 10 who cares if the jeigan takes 2 damage from every enemy attack. Just allows the rest of your army to mop up, rofl.

When Youtube is literally 50% Minecraft videos, clearly people are either dumb, think the game has some kind of value, or both.

It's one thing to not like the game. But saying it doesn't have any replay value doesn't really work since Minecraft doesn't have any goal. Yes, you can adventure to some demon world and kill a dragon and "win", but it doesn't tell you to do that. The game doesn't tell you do anything besides dig, build and explore. And how you do that is up to you and your imagination and there is no end to that. You can create your own goals with what you might want to build or achieve but the stuff some people have built in Minecraft shows that there is pretty much no end to what might be built.

Sometimes it feels good to play a game which doesn't tell you what, how and when to do everything, don't you agree?

Ah, ok. I got my archetypes mixed up.

That's true. As I mentioned, I never really used Marcus as anything other than a meatshield for my other units.

Seth was broken, and with the monsters roaming the map, I leveled up every character since it was stupidly easy. Not as easy as Awakening, but still.

Twilight Princess was a great game. Skyward Sword, while not great, is still a solid entry.

The game has achievements, therefore it is possible to win Minecraft. Also completing the thing that is literally named "The End", gives you what can be perceived as an ending.

But you can rush to the ending and have 90% of the features untouched. That's pretty good replayability.

Sure, you're right. But did you even read the post you just quoted though? The whole concept of the game is the mining and building part. Nobody sees Minecraft and goes "Oh shit I got to have this game! I can kill a dragon in a cave! [radio edit] Dragon Age!"

I play Minecraft and I don't even care about the dragon. I just want to build shit and play with all the cool mechanics in the game and that is something you can do forever. Even more, the randomly generated worlds are so large that you're never going to have to start a new world (new game).

It still feels like your joking though. It's just such a weird thing to say about a game like Minecraft. You can't possibly have played the game, rushed to the dragon boss, beat it and went "this game is short and sucks". If you have then I can only feel sorry for you that you seemingly can't enjoy a game without a clear goal and where you don't have someone ordering you around and telling you exactly what, when and how to do every single thing. You'll be in my prayers friend.

What's wrong with having directionality in a game? I thought Minecraft, Terraria, etc. sucked because there was nothing to do, nothing to strive for. I don't play MMOs for the same reason. Well, actually for MMOs its a mix of 90% dull quests and endless grinding. As opposed to story driven games or multiplayers like fps or LoL/dota. Here's how you win, now get to it! No one legitimately thinks CoD's campaigns are any good but to put down someone for not enjoying a game like Minecraft is [radio edit]ing stupid.

This guy gets it.

After wasting a bajillion hours already I can firmly say that the game is a terrible excuse for value.

I'm pretty sure you missed the entire point of that discussion.

It had nothing to do with whether or not he thought Minecraft was good, it had to do with Minecraft's replayability. Which, yeah, saying it has no replayability is kinda dumb - if you like the core game, then it has [radio edit]tons of replayability.

Obviously if you don't like the game when initially playing it, it has no replayability for you, that's pretty obvious and seems dumb to state though.

Also if you wasted a bunch of time of Minecraft, how does it not have replayability?

I did not say that. I did however ask the opposite question.

I did not say that. I did however question a very unusual way to critique a certain type of game.

Fair enough. That's a whole lot of hours until you found out it wasn't for you though.

It was mostly friend obligation but whatever.

I did absolutely everything you could possibly do in that game since that was the only thing I could do without getting bored.
