I've had trouble on the Temple lately with using spoilertags, the auto bb-code buttons and other similar functions. Namely, I can click said things until the cows come home, but nothing will happen. This happens on all skins. As it turns out, my disabling Adblock on a hunch led to a startling discovery: that it is at fault. In other words, Adblock is getting pissed off at Zetaboards for some reason. Before I dive into my custom filters and see if I accidentally caused some collateral damage by an errant auto-filter to zap Zetaboard-related spam ads, is anybody else having this issue? |

If you block the zetaboards ads, then yeah, it borks up those tags, since they have the same domain name (or whatever the term is called) or something. |

I've been using AdBlock since coming onto Temple, and haven't had any issues like this. I'm even using it now. Don't wanna jinx it though. |

I think I've heard a few other people say this... something to do with a particular IP address it's blocking? |

Issue resolved. I went into my custom filter list and found the one with the most hits. Blocking the domain z1.ifrm.com/static* causes the issues I described. Blocking specific images, such as z1.ifrm.com/static/dealsforme1.png does not cause the entire board to bork. woooo /o/ |

Yeah, but you probably still have the single ad that appears on certain pages. It gets through the default adblock filter lists, but if you specifically choose to block it manually, that's when the problems start. This method of blocking individual images works though! However there's one which is made of multiple elements that I can't seem to completely remove. |

I'm having this issue myself now. I can't seem to locate z1.ifrm.com/static specifically in my filters, and disabling adblock doesn't seem to help the issues. Keep in mind I'm terrible with computers so I could be derping somewhere along the lines. I'm also having issues with images on other pages (images appearing further down the screen and pushing the content down with it for instance), so anyone got any ideas to help? |
