And then they put in the gag where he called all the pets and only the loyal dog answered immediately with a stupid dog smile on her face. And I rofled. Made up for the rest of the stale ep.

There are some mirrored scenes in both episodes that tie them together. I think that was a pretty cool way of doing things which we haven't seen before.

Or maybe it just seemed that way because the big twist was super spoiled by everyone and their mother weeks in advance. - But, uh, really, nothing much happened. The big problem was wrapped up pretty quickly. - Twilight as alicorn, yessss. That was a cool thing I'd thought would be cool to happen but didn't think would, so I'm happy. - Apparently one of the writers has said that this is sort of part one of three related episode, which is actually pretty nice. - "Liquid pride." Hehehe, Shining Armor, you so bro. - Even if it was just a warm and fuzzy episode, I thought it was sweet and very solid. A great note on which to end the season.
