Amazing experience and great episode. I love Rarity. Flawed characters ftw. Also, saw the best Pinkie Pie cosplay. Full Grand Galloping Gala outfit, stuffed Gummy plushie, and she was absolutely and totally in character the whole time. If she hadn't left early, I would have gotten a picture. Rarity cosplay and hosting pony panel at next Tekkoshocon here in Pittsburgh.

In general it's more fun to me to just be a consumer of other entertainment mediums without going and producing art, music, and literature based on the medium. Golden Sun is just special. :3

The poor CMC just never learn. I enjoy the way that the show seems to be showing that Applebloom has a special friendship with Zecora, since she was the first one to approach her and scoff at the whole "different is dangerous" thing. Even though she does get into trouble with her. Episodes like these are fun, but I do hope the CMC get their cutie marks eventually, so that the sole focus of their episodes isn't just either wangsting or having crazy mishaps. Still, we're only in the beginning of the second season, so it's not really a problem for me yet. I also like the way that they're actually running with Celestia's suggestion from Lesson Zero and having other ponies send/narrate the lesson at the end.

Brb, loling forever. I agree with you, Necare. If they get their cutie marks by the end of the season, I'll be happy. And if they want to continue with those fillies, we could get episodes in the third season about them finding how to use their special talents in their life. After all, Rarity didn't just get a fashion boutique when her cutie mark appeared, and Pinkie's transition from the rock farm to Sugarcube Corner probably wasn't completely smooth. I think that would be really neat to explore.
