The yaoi fangirls treat Kairi much worse than how Peter Griffon treats Meg. |

Very true. But it seems to extend to a lot of other games/anime out there anyway. Yaoi fangirls can be very harsh to girls who 'get in the way' of their couples. |

Now I remember another thing about why I am bitter. KH2 is a nominee for the Smithsonian American Art Museum for their video game exhibit. I can easily get to the museum as my friend lives in Washington D.C. KH2 is rivaling against games that probably would be a better fit for the museum such as Okami.
A shame really. Sometimes women are their own worst enemy and that makes me sad. I would not mind people shipping boy love as much if they did not have to get the canon girl interest mauled in the most brutal way possible. |

That Smithsonian Exhibit seems to be a giant joke anyway, I made a topic on here about it so you can read my thoughts on it there, but when E.T., Pac-Man 2600, and Top Gun for NES are nominees and you have no arcade or handheld games listed, you know your exhibit is trash. |

What you missed it? It's about how this organization totally has the hawts for each other and they want hearts so they can make passionate love with real emotions. Oh and they brutally kill everybody that has a pair of X chromosomes. That's what a yaoi fangirl told me anyway. It was very hard to comprehend as my mind is not advanced enough to understand such a wonderful piece of fine literature put into video game form. |

Role facepalms Leave it to the temple to turn a discussion into mockery. Yes, we all agree, Yaoi fangirls need to burn hell with the furfags. They're just that bad. Yes, we all agree, KH has some pretty bad flaws, and the second game came dangerously close to jumping the shark - it's only saving grace being it's more intuitive controls. I'd rather go back to talking about the things you liked and didn't like about it, though... |

Sound the horn and call the cry: "How many of them can we make die?"

I'm inclined to echo Role's thoughts there. It started out with legitimate arguments, but somewhere along the line that turned into "This series is bad because it didn't go the way I wanted it to." |

The worst part is, they're not even paying attention to some of the better things to come out of it - Days had a lot of customization, and did a lot to actually build on the organization. Sure, it was a character driven story rather than plot driven, but it did its job. BBS started to do quite a bit to fix the problems with Disney taking the back door to everything - they started to get much more involved. The controls were surprisingly good, but the battle system had a really great addition - they did away with MP, and instead added spells and skills to be used on-command. Each had their own recharge rates, and you could improve them (via attack haste and magic haste), adding in quite a bit of complexity - how would you build your skillset? Physically? Magically? A hybrid? Coded's story... yeah, kinda was throw-away, given it was just a cellphone game at first. However, the system was quite good, and kind of piggybacked off of both BBS's command selection and Days' customization - you could build Sora to be an attacker, tank, mage, or however you wanted. So great things are coming in terms of gameplay - the next two entries - Dream Drop Distance and BBS2 are supposed to be main story entries, unlike Days and Coded, which were more for the game mechanics. When they come out, I'll let you know how it's doing. From the looks of BBS, they're heading in the right direction, so 3D should tell us what we need to know, especially since we're FINALLY getting new worlds. BBS2 also takes place in the Realm of Darkness, if you're interested. It should be mainly new stuff, though it looks like it'll have less disney interaction than 3D. |
