He's a dickface, to be sure, but I never really found myself hating him. Mami's death, as mentioned, was unsurprising, since I'd seen it on Youtube. Sayaka's fall, though tragic, I had seen coming as well, so it really didn't bother me. But Homura? God. [radio edit]ing Homura. The past timeline episode threw my head for a goddamn whirl. I knew something was up with her, since I'd caught mention of an alternate universe, as I mentioned, and when Kyubey accused her of being from a different timeline, I figured that was a simple enough explanation - she had somehow come from a universe where Kyubey succeeded, so she wanted to change it. Episode 10 started off reinforcing that theory. But when she rewound time again, as I watched her personality shift slightly, the terrifying realization of the timeloop slowly settled in. Even now, after having finished it, that horrific cycle is what remains most prominently in my head. It's not the first time I've seen the concept done, but it really hit me hard. As for the ending... I dunno. I, like everyone else, saw most of it coming. I knew she would be uber-powerful, I knew she would somehow undo the Puella Magi system, but I wasn't expecting Madoka to vanish from the timeline. As Lach said, though, it makes sense. But that's me. What I'm more curious about, however, are people's thoughts concerning the things at the very end, the Curses and Homura's wings. I wasn't really sure of what to make about either of those.

As for the wings though, dunno, there are opinions all over the board for those.
