What are you talking about you know that's the moment I decided Mami was the best thing ಠ_ಠ There's also more similarities than that, such as: spoilers for both series -Sayaka and Shirou both want to become "Heroes of Justice." -Sayaka and Shirou become a Puella Magi/Counter Guardian without knowing what it entails, then come to regret that decision. -Sayaka and Shirou both take on opponents they can't beat and only avoid becoming seriously injured because of their Healing Factor. -Kotomine and Kyubey act as advisers while withholding crucial information. -Kyubey and Kotomine ~~and Shirou~~ don't die when they are killed. -Homura and Kiritsugu both have time based abilities. -Homura and Kiritsugu both use modern weaponry to boost their relatively weak magic/lack of offensive magic. -Homura and Kiritsugu both have the experience of killing a person they love. -Mami and Gilgamesh both get eaten after they think they've killed their opponent.

I remember they did show a scene of her doing so, at least.
