I've heard that they took a lot out of this one compared to the first game. What do you all think of this game? Me? I think I may pick this up just to see if there is anything I can get out of it. But, I did read a review before I saw this game being sold in target in Gameinformer, so I may just have to decide if I want to rent this first. |

Getting it hopefully soon. I preordered from the Capcom Store just for the cute Chibitersasu plush. |

I may just end up getting this from target, but oh heck, I have to finish more games before I can pick this up at any store. |

On the DS hmm? Well, maybe I'll get this at some point, probably in a while when I can get it pre-owned and I actually have some money. |

I have a friend who just got it. Don't really know much about it, though. |

I now have the game and the Chibiterasu plush keychain. Yay! Didn't start the game yet as I am very exhausted now. |

If I do purchase the game, what should I expect? Like good story, immersive environments, etc. |

So far this is only a first impression. I will copy and paste from the other forum I go to about my thoughts on this game. So how does this compare to the original game so far? Well at this point I am in the save point before the Catfish fight. I find the boss battles so far at least on par with the original game's (and dare I say sort of a bit more difficult? I do find myself taking a lot more hits than the original Okami). The puzzles are easy but I would be lying if I said Okami's was more difficult (I only remember being really stuck on one part, the machine before you unlock the Blizzard brushstroke). |

Just copying and pasting what I wrote in another forum. Finally finished the game. All I can say is I definitely prefer the bosses in Okamiden but I prefer the environment in Okami. This game is proof that changing developmental team does not always have to spell disaster too. I was in a Capcom event where the employees were explaining the amount of research that was done on the original Okami and Japanese mythology to make this game and it really shows. I just wish they did not put the release date between Pokemon B/W and the 3DS because it pains me to know that this game may be ignored. |
