Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

Finally started reading g senjou no maou. It's pretty great and not at all what I was expecting (I think I mixed it up with like... quartet or something, or something similar). It's actually exactly the kind of thing I wanted to read a few days ago, but couldn't find. Maybe I subconsciously remembered?

Impressions so far (up to partway through ch.2)

Planetarian is going to be released on Steam very soon. Clannad will also be released on Steam eventually.

This is a beautiful new era for the localization of Key visual novels in the west. If you like Key's works, please support them! I certainly will. If they sell well, Sekai Project will hopefully localize other Key VNs too.

Rewrite getting localized would be pretty swell.

Too bad Clannad will supposedly be using the fantranslation.

Even if the translation sucks, I'm probably still buying it. >.>;

I need something to read. I'm considering Tsukihime, G-senjou no Maou, Muv-Luv, and Saya no Uta, but I can't decide. >.>

Suggestions?

As an added bonus, I'm actually considering possibly doing an LP (or rather, a Let's Read) of whatever VN I choose, in the form of pictures and commentary.

Started Chaos;head recently. I didn't realize how the triggers worked until I accidentally triggered one and didn't even see the red one until was reading on wikipedia. Not too far into it fortunately. Only problem is, now I'm being indecisive if I want to trigger green, red, or just continue on.

Also plan on restarted Akaya Akashiya Ayakashiro. My friend gave it to me, but it hasn't been translated. It sounds really interesting though.

You could do like I did and make a save at each delusion trigger, watch all three, and then just continue from there. I usually did green, red, then no delusion. You won't adversely affect the story by doing this, since if you're going for the A+ route, the only "decisions" that matter are when the game will actually come up on screen to ask you for an input before continuing (inputting a wrong decision for the first results in a bad end, and inputting a wrong decision for the second results in the regular A route ending, which could also be considered a bad end). If you're going for the B route, you basically need a guide, because it requires selecting precise delusions at certain points in the story (I believe there are 11 in all, so you would almost never get it if just going through randomly).

Oh, that's good to know! Thanks ^.^ Will probably do that for the rest of them and go back and check the others that I missed at some point.

It's not worth seeing the delusions you missed, they affect nothing on the first playthrough.

They're fun, though. Depending on how far you went without using the delusion trigger system, you may have missed one of the cool unique ones, too.

They're fun, yeah, but it's unfortunately pretty easy to miss them even on subsequent playthroughs, since the skip option does skip over them.

What's the unique delusion?

minor plot spoilers

There might've been some other cool ones early on I don't remember. The early delusion triggers were a lot about introducing you to the system, after all.

more spoilers

So how's Dengeki Stryker? The art looks really good, which is kind of rare for a VN, and it sounds interesting enough.
